It is no where as comfortable on the highway as you would think. It takes a perfectly smooth highway to yield a smooth ride. With the low center of gravity and the large area for the wind to bang you around it is a handful on a windy day. The bandit I sold to get my majesty was worlds apart on highway comfort. It weighed almost the same but was smoother and the wind had almost no effect on you. The majesty rear suspension leaves a lot to be desired too. The term touring scooter is a oxymoron. No scooter can have decent rear suspension when the motor is part of the suspension. The lower the unsprung weight the better they ride. I believe trikes are a little different and never having ridden one I'll leave that for some one who has.

I could ride for days i find this a very stupet question!...chinese scooters can never match the jpanese scoots in any way and every way... if you pay $600 for a brand new chinese scooter, don't expect a lamborgini comfort of ride...geeez! money talks!!! but kz has a different thoughts about this...lets hear it from him now., the last time,if i recall he said he will never buy a 3800 worth of scooter, he'd rather buy 10 little 50cc scooters...made me laugh! ----------------->

1) My Fashion seems to be doing just fine matching your Morph. It doesn't beat me up and leave me buying a trailer after a short 215 mile ride.
2) A Linhai 260 doesn't cost $600. It can be had online for $2600 and the people who I've spoken to who own them say they're comfortable.
3) I said I would never buy a $3800 50cc scooter. A 50cc Vespa isn't worth that money for what it does. A Honda PCX 150 is $3500. If I was going to buy a scooter that tops out between 35 to 40 mph I'd buy a Tao Tao or Bashan and save myself $3100. I don't have to though, I have Rocket the wonder bike. You know Luke the little 50cc bike that does 80 mile trips and crosses State borders without breathing hard. I'm good.
And TW. Don't be fooled by a seat that feels comfortable sitting still. A good seat takes time to squash itself to the shape of your butt. My 150cc reminded me of a vinyl covered log when I first got it. Now we're old friends, the same as every Japanese motorcycle I've ever owned.

Yes that seat would kill you on a long day trip. Even on my Silver Wing I use a gel pad, going to try beads this next trip

how many times i have to tell you guys, i am the angel of this forum, my purpose is to give the newbies a fair share, i want to tell them that hey, not all scooters are chinese, there are tons of a lot better quality scooters out there, i will educate them for they know nothing as a newbie, i dont want them to suffer , these newbies especially the young once are students, they only get their money from their parents, i dont want them to get a chinese scoot and end up just fixing it, and much worse end up in the garage collecting dust, because it quit running for some reason(or for many reasons, lol) the dealer dont care because why? they already got their money. my consience just cant stomach it. i need to lay them all the cards and its up to them to choose. im here for the newbies welfare not for those hard headed blinded chinese scooter worshipers ,, lol i cant believe jct chooses a chinese scooter over his majesty? only because he has no patience in waiting for the parts... my goodness! what a disposable world we're living in!!!

You are so full of it. It doesn't take a Rocket Scientist to see that not all Chinese scooters are bad. Dr. Rocco came, asked and was steered towards a good scooter. For what he spent, what else was available? A thirty year old Honda 150? You got lucky with yours. A what? Two year old $6000 Morph that you got for $2400 (you say). Ever wonder why? I've seen the price of scooters in Yuma. People actually ride there so they hold their value-usually. I'm guessing the previous owner either had a major health issue or couldn't stand something about it.
I said it before and I'll say it again. Buy a Chinese scooter from a B&M dealer and it's as good as anything. Buy online and be prepared to be the dealer. The forecast in Yuma today is 84*. Did you ride to work today? I haven't seen one long ride report from you since you signed on....anywhere.
This forum isn't about selling scooters, it's about helping people like Malevalina (sp.) get hers up and running because a dealer wasn't available. Hers is doing fine now and not because you offered one, tiny bit of advice.
You're no Angel. You're a Moto-Snob. What was it you said? "If you can't afford to buy an expensive scooter, then you don't deserve the privilege of riding one." Nevermind that JR has done four or five 800 mile round trips on his Roketa 54B and you haven't. I'm guessing that makes a Chinese built Yamaha better than a Japanese one.
