Very interesting read Jim
If I could ride on 2 again, I'd get the HD Street 750. Obviously I'd prefer the HD Electra Glide or a Goldwing, but, being realistic, with my current situation, a smaller bike is now the best I can handle. (But I still got my GL200 that I hope to trike and my Shadow Sabre that I don't know what to do with, but, I'm still gonna ride----something!!!)
Nice to see the Indian back. Hopefully Polaris can keep the sales up with a fair price (which this seems right in the ballpark at $20,999, for those who want a nice cruiser/tourer)
Thanx

If I were to "go big" again... I must admit, I'm partial to the Victory and the Indian line-up.

As the article says:
Minnesota-based Polaris Industries reprises the Indian brand — a rival of Harley-Davidson before it went out of business in 1953 — with a new line of heavyweight bikes that are thoroughly modern but linked to the past.

How about that Suzuki GW250? A scant $4000, able to leap long Morphs at a single bound and built entirely in China. Bye Luke.

I just made a few mods to the majesty, handle bar risers and the seat and if they don't help my back I am going to junk it and look for a used shadow 1100. My back has been killing me. Have 4 va appointments wed to see if I can't get help there. I think my riva has better suspension than the big one.

majesty is a very good machine, just have to know how to take care of it..it's one of the best scooter to modify aesthetically, another one is Honda forza(which is now in the US market fyi, $5k+...
why don't you guys, save money and get a class, quality scoot instead of several of those, those, those chinese 50cc's and 150cc's... leave the chinese's to my dear friend KZ, chinese scooters are very temperemental, KZ can definitely handle it., me? i just want to gas up and ride, i don't want to gas up, fix, fix, fix, and (maybe) ride if it gets fixed...LOL

John followed your advice and look what happened. You have to work on yours constantly even though you don't go anywhere. You should buy a Chinese scooter and ride instead of towing yours around. You'd be surprised how much fun riding is if you did.

If I were to "go big" again... I must admit, I'm partial to the Victory and the Indian line-up. Have you seen the new Victory Gunner Cookees? Only $12,999. That's about the lowest price in its class. Every so often I cruise Craigslist for Victorys. I can dream.
