If I had a reason I had to take a scooter out today I would, but at 3:00 pm it is still a bit chilly to go for a ride just to be riding. It is 53degrees here now. Yes and that's why I retired here....... I hate snow, ice, and cold.
And I expect better weather so I just unplugged the space heater in my well house. Set to come on at around 32 degrees. It is around 40" square about 4' high insulated and looks like a big dog house. A space heater only runs for a couple min at a time and is cheaper to run than leaving a light bulb on all the time.

the question is What are you doing in that place?? you have to do something , can u imagine its spring and you get 20f?? you should be enjoying by now! its currently 77 here in az. sunny and a bit windy. what a perfect day. now see, i am enjoying doing some outdoor activities while you are wearing your snuggies while cooking some marshmallows with hotdog on a barbecue stick in front of a fireplace. see how much time i get to enjoy life compared to yours?? living in a snowy place hinders you to maximize your life. move to california area and youll be a fulfilled person in every sense of the word. me, i cannot imagine myself plow snow at 3 in the morning.. no way!!

Is that you KZ?! When did you give up your career as a television announcer? You put Cronkite to shame! Now to all you guys that have to endure the frozen stuff I do sympathize and.....AH HA HA HA HA! No I don't! It was 60 here today and we were complaining it was unusually cold! I'm agreeing with Luke and ...... help me, I'm agreeing with Luke.

Leme tell ya what we did growing up her in the Snow Belt. I actually feel sorry for some kids who never get to experience it. We were Outside All the Time! We Went Sled riding on every type of contraption you could imagine. Down every Hill, Ravine into creeks and River at the Bottom. Climbed back up and did it some more. We did this all day until our Butts were Wet and Frozen along with our Hands and Feet. Most times having to unfreeze them under cold water. We SHoveled ponds clean and Ice Skated on the rough ice and Played some Hockey. We tunneled out Snow Drifts and mad Igloo's. We made Snow Forts and Had Snow ball fight well into the night. We had all Night Ski Nights at the local Slope. Warmed our hands down the pants of our Girl Friends Pants. We Rode Snowmobiles from County to County at a Buck Twenty Five, sliding out around corners, using the soft stuff as a cushion. We Bumper Ski'd of the backs of our Winter Beaters down secondary roads all night. And we Learned How to Drive Sideways in anything with wheels. We hooked up Socer's to the back of the Snowmoble and played Crack the Wip to we couldnt stand anymore. And now my Ole Drag race buddy is the local Forman so he drives the Biggest Baddest Newest Tri Axle plow Truck youve Seen. Then I take the Wheel and find the Morph Neighbor and Clean out his Mailbox then Laugh all night long!! And There Was ONLY ONE FAT KID IN THE WHOLE SCHOOL!!!!!!!! THATS WHat We DID!!!! And Surf is Up Right NOW!!!!!!!!!

I did pretty much the same thing, but didn't have snowmobiles back then. We had sleds and toboggans. And drove my 47 ford on the frozen lake Had fires at the outdoor ice rink (they man made a circle with a wall/ridge and flooded it, froze, instant ice rink) Cooled our beer in the snowbank (had to hide it cause we was underage) Winter in South Dakota in the 50's/60's
