I agree with Alley, it's easy to throw some ideas out there and then say "just kidding". I know I screw around a lot and say "kidding!" all the time but I don't think as an admin you should toss crap out like SD.NET did. A lot of people use this forum for entertainment, communication, and knowledge.....it's important. There's jokes to be made, I don't think that's one of them. In chiropractic college we were always mercilessly ragging on each other and laughed our asses off. But it was like we used to say.....no Mom jokes. You did not cross that line. I think a line was crossed with SD IMO. Rich

I don't think that guy is all there. He paid what ever for the forum with ideas that it was a goldmine. Charging small business's to be on there and kicking them off if they won't pay! As far as trikes go, rapid jim is the formost authority on them and to kick him off is like cutting off your nose to spite your face. It appears that guy does not want any trikers on his forum.

Thank you for your kind words jct. You are right about the goldmine comment. His whole purpose of "buying" the name was to make money, he even said so. When it didn't work out like he planned, he turned into a %$#@. When he first started he wasn't even sure he wanted to have a trike section. After Pro Boards made him delete posts, others and myself tryed to help out by posting our own "old" posts from the original Scoot Dawg. What did he do in return, some of us got banned if our opinions did not match his. Since I was banned a year ago, there have been 5 new posts and 3 replies to old posts in the trike section. Hmm, kinda tells you something. |

Boy am i glad i missed all that stuff,,geez i like everyone here,,cept one who will remain nameless,,,nice informative easygoing geez you guys are nicer than guys i hire to do stuff for me,,,Alley,Jim,the Stinkster,and more all pour in serious time and effort to make this turkey fly,,and fly high it does,,,,and for that i give all the admin here and big and hearty,,,,,THANK YOU!!!!and a salute,,,,i duck in here on and off all day,,,i never did that on any other forum,,,they got nuthin (cept the proff),,i learned more here just by pure osmosis,,i didn't know my a$$ from a hole in the ground about scooters,,,now somebody tell me the new 12 inch vespa sprint wheels will fit my et4,,,lie to me anything,,,,i'll believe you

Aaron is a nice guy, he gives warnings, wonder where he is now.
but i like Sdoc and Sprof in this generation.

Like a horse with a broken leg it needs to be put out of its misery. A good year before it hit the skids I was totally fed up with the poor mods there and quit going there. Yes there were a couple good ones, but the bad ones shined/

you guys just can't chime with the forum style of the Scootdawg.com....you can't be too serious in the forum, touchy and onion skin people like JCT won't survive in a forum., i hate people deleting their own account only because they don't like the moderator or they don't like the topic or even accusing the mods of stealing his pictures...gosh! grow up and get a life!!

ok i stand corrected,sorry.
the thing of it is, mods and admins over at scootdawg started to fall apart or disappeared one by one, like Jacine etc., leaving the forum hanging.
even the owner LEE, is nowhere to be found, apparently he can't afford the maintenance fee for the proboards, then he just left. at the same time he was having problems with his GF. , mixture of everything, like taking orders and money from members without sending them the merchandise( scooter manual, or tshirt,im not sure, either of the two)
and apparently,at the end someone discovered that LEE the owner does not even own a scooter at all..geeez!!
anyway, i really miss SD.COM
