The forum has become very expensive to run & maintain, so this was inevitable, but I plan to keep the cost down as much as possible.
Basically you'll have to enter your PayPal info in your User CP, and you'll be invoiced at the end of every month for the time you've spent logged-in to the forum (the forum calculate your online time for the month). You can set PayPal up to automatically pay it.
I'm thinking it will be about $2.95 per hour, which I feel is very fair compared to what some other forums charge.
Anyway, I'll provide more info when we're ready. Should be implemented by mid-month, I hope.

Pssst... Don't forget it's April 1st... Matt Could be a joke then again it might not be. If ture the all this proves is that the Admin over there is out for one thing, to fill his pockets. He may say he is there to help, and even bash people who have moved on saying they weren't there to help anyways. I have been around forums and groups for a VERYYYYYYYYYYYYYY long time and have never seen a paid forum/group, even back in the old msn days. Some ask for donations but not an out and out charge per hour/ day or month.The top 3 scooter forums don't even charge for vendor banners like that place does. Some may think I have a grudge to grind about them because of how I was treated when I decided to leave that forum and his illegal re posting of my posts. Heck he even changed my name to guest 2 when he banned me so the posts would stay. I just don't even go there to look as a guest at all anymore. I said what I had to say back then and changed the first picture on 2 of my posts (which I did by changing the picture on the original link and then changed the link on other boards so as not to have the same picture) , which he didn't delete, heck he probably doesn't even know it was done and that was last year. I quit going there when jim got kicked out. That guy bought the forum to make money and that ruined it. That has to be a joke, I some times log in to a forum then go some where and don't log out for days. I let the computer run 24/7 so my bill there would be thousands!

well. say whatever you want guys,, i still miss The Scootdawg forum. and i don't care if i pay 10 bucks an hour air time, as long as it stays up and running...a lot of dramas on that forum,not bad tho, o lot of people made names,and became famous to the chinese scooter world. some stick to their usernames althroughout the years, some made thousands of them.
i witnessed lots of rivalry, quarells,quiting, deleting of account, banning, etc. some big cheese's had some word wars and that triggered them to put up their own scooter forums, which we are enjoying right now.
....more stories to come....im at work,till my next breaktime..
