on mileage you won't believe, it says about 43,600 miles on the odo, im pretty sure its lying but who knows. ill take a picture of the numbers later. yes kz, half throttle gets me about 30mph, it still has more to give but i dont wanna push it to its limit. 30-35 is ok for wifey. finally i get to see her ride again this morning after 12 yrs. It's one thing to have the wife riding behind ya/psgr, but it's entirely kooler to have her on her own scoot riding beside ya. (even if you're driving the kar with the bathtub on the trailer) jk Enjoy the ride of life

hahaha, yeah she's always been a passenger, now id love to see her on my rear view mirror actually riding. and here's a picture i found in the net, a yamaha razz transmission, since the amount of oil in trans is 1 liter does this mean that everything behind the tranny cover is soaked in oil? so where's the clutch shoes located? if there are.

mines got 7040. still runs pretty good.
my gas lines are stiff so i changed the one from the shutoff to the carb.
make sure youre careful with the carb. new carb from yamaha is $250. id personally probably get a $40 scrappy 2t carb and mess with jetting before id buy that.

That scooter was built before the idiots who are on the yamaha scooter design team today quit pissing the bed. I had a lot of trust in yamaha then.

.... So i went back to seller's house and asked her to sign the bill of sale today, she said she regret selling, she only did it because she's moving, and out of 37 people who emailed her she picked me because i emailed her 3X. lucky me!! while signing the papers her daugter came out, God she looks so Hot!! i knew she came out to check me out, im handsome too btw. i think i wanna go back there and bring her some asian food next time.. lol Then, the mom told me if i want the remaining oil that she used in the scooter, i said yes and thank her, and to my surprised, she handed me this: im like really??? but i didnt ask her where she puts it, i sure wish NOT in the 2T oil reservoir. When i arrived home, i did the viscosity and color comparison between the oil in the 2t reservoir and the oil she gave me, and true enough its one and the same. im like OMG!!! im going to drain it tonight!! and replace it with fresh high grade smokeless evinrude 2t oil.

Family Dollar oil! Cool stuff in a four stroke. Not so hot for a two stroke.

yes exactly, and that oil is damn thick! the built in oil pump must have had a hard time pumping it up to the carb. thats why i noticed the scooter doesnt seem to sing to its high pitch when i rev it. ill see how it goes on the real 2T later
