Just took my first fall on my scooter. Hit a pothole and lost control. Wiped out and the back end of my scooter smashed into my leg. Not much damage to the bike..just some scratches to the back of the mirror and the front fender broke off. I'm okay though. Just a really painful leg.

Glad your leg is alright you cannot replace body parts but the scoot it is just metal and plastic that you can replace. Yes riding a two wheeler you have be be very vigilant for everything or anything on the road, oil, water, dirt sand etcc not to mention vehicles that can run you over.

I was wearing a full faced helmet with the visor down, long sleeve shirt covered with a long jacket, and long pants. I was going about 20-25. Anybody know how to match paint? I can paint over the scratches.

Glad to see your ok , if the leg is pounding go get an xray . Did your helmet hit the pavement ?

I never looked or paid attention to what hit what. All I know is that I hit the ground hard and then my motor cut out. I didn't look at the helmet for damage, but my neck IS killing me too. I guess the adrenaline wore off.

it's new helmet time,,,,,if it took a shot get a new one,,the shell may have been compromised ,,,glad you're ok,,,,,alley is right as usual,,,plastic and metal can be replaced

Glad to hear your ok and wearing protective gear. Every ones post is right on plastic and metal can be replaced. If you think you need to go to the hospital to get checked out don't procrastinate do it. Sometimes after you hurt your body it doesn't show up till later that is if you don't get checked out.

I know about 10 years a go I took a crash on a dirt bike and broke my ankle it hurt really bad thought I would just ice it and it would be ok. I ended up going to the hospital after like the third day of the accident and ended having a ex ray and I did enfact break my ankle. You might want to go get checked out hope your ok.

I'm feeling okay. My leg isn't in any active pain anymore. It's just sore. So I think I'll be okay.

Come on,,,,MAN UP!!!!!!,,,,i fell down on the 405 freeway at speed,,toasted a beautiful bike and ruined $500 easy in gear,,,walked away,,with only a little more than a bruised ego,,and a bent ducati 888 superbike,,,hit some oil and went down like a sac of sh!t,,,,nothing like watching one of your own hand crafted bikes cartwheel over your head as you tumble,,,it's a fukd up feeling

Last summer when I went down with a $500+ shoei I went out and replaced it. This time I did not spend so much though.
