I'm thinking of putting 2 OZ of Motorkote in my oil in my 50cc. Does anyone have any experience with this stuff? Is it going to foul up my engine or something?

I have not but I bumped into it on the net and then had a mechanic friend ( he's really good) highly recommend it,, it's going in my vespa next change ,,, that is if I ever get the thing running again,,,, geez

I am not sure there is any motor oil additive that is the magic bullet that makes oil perfect. If there was I am sure one of the oil companies would be using it and claiming all the other oils were bad. There have been hundreds over the years all with claims of restoring worn motors, preventing wear, increased power and the like and one by one most have slowly disappeared. They sell because the buyer wants it to work and believes it will. Look at the nut on another forum a few years ago that was telling every one to put roach powder and water in their oil, a few did and I don't think any admitted it did good and since they went silent they probably had engine failure and too embarrassed to admit mistake.
Oil additives may work to some degree but nothing beats an oil change.

I believe Luke swears by Marvel Mystery Oil (I may be wrong, not sure who it was). By the way I have not seen him here for some time. Tired of getting beat up?

I'm probably due for an oil change anyhow, because I've run my engine extremely hard for like 600 miles.

Yeah you are about due for a oil change. I like to do mine around 500 to 700 miles and run synthetic. Which scooter is your favorite got one?
I am still shocked you got that ruckus for 500 dollars. Honda make built proof stuff in my opinoin I would think it would take many years to wear it out.
