My premise was that he was trying to adapt an arcane wiring configuration into the run of the mill CDIs that we deal with here on the forum. I guess I wasn't into problem solving as much as I made it a theoretical enigma. I didn't even notice the other CDI was working.....my bad. Rich

i turned the idel one right some. and played with the lean mix it sounded like it fired once for a split sec. can you see if i have the hose on right place. my firend help me take it off i did not see where they was to start with. also when i put the jets back in i put them back in snug by hand screwdriver is that too tight? the jets in the carb bowl? yes just tight and snug with a screwdriver. -Edit- looks like you got it together right as in the hoses and stuff as well.

i just retook it all apart again to check make sure nothing was clogged on the inside and to check the floot bowl is lvl. do you think i should take the gas value than that the vacuum goes to for the gas to flow and clean it up too?

WAIT JUST A COTTON PICKEN MINUTE. Your Petcock does it have a VACUUM connter or is it a OFF/ON valve type Petcock. Because if it is a VACUUM line operated PETCOCK it needs VACUUM and you do not have the VACUUM HOSE connected to the CARB going to the PETCOCK. Here is your VACUUM port on the CARB you need a VACUUM hose on there and connected to the PETCOCKS Vacuum connector OTHERWISE no gas will come out to the carb. IF you have a OFF/ON fuel valve that you manuall have to turn on and off then you need to plug that VACUUM CONNECTOR UP on the carb. Alleyoop

Alleyoop oh yea sorry about that. im logged in the laptop out in the shed. and been having the page open. i did not refresh it before my last post. where i did not see your new thread. in the other hole i tried to blow in it and no air would move and looking in it. its sealed inside the tube. so the other one right next to it lets a little air move so i took it that's the vacuum line. i spent allot of money and was all the wrong parts. spent 3 days trying to fix it. and back worst than i started. i just miss riding it. :/
