i have a Yamaha vino 2002 and was costing down a hill and herd some odd noise and i dropped down from 35mph to about 20 it was bogging out. i let off the gas and then re-gave it gas and it picked back up then it got back up to about 35mph and bogging out again. then i costed to a stop light and it died and would not start again. i cleaned the carb. and then checked the spark. i got a new spark plug. after doing some reading it could have been the cap in the cdi box that blew. i work on computers and it did sound like it might have blown. so i orderd a cdi box and new coil wire. the gy6 50cc 125cc 150cc Scooter Moped Racing Cdi Box 6 Pin + Ignition Coil thinking it will swich over good. after i got the no cdi i relayed the plug was different. after looking i saw some one used one like that on this BOARD. so i got new end and put them on the wires then printed out the pic you all had and then i saw my colors was way off. so i was able to find a few and guessed on the rest and the fuse blew once. and other time nothing. i tried to find the OEM CID wire colors for the 2002 and none of them are like that. im uploaded a youtube video so you can see what im working with. and im going to take some pic's hear in a moment and show you what i can tell are what.
so can some one help me with the right wiring im running out of fuse's.

Black - Ground Orange - Coil Feed Trace the wires back to the Stator and see which wire is the TRIGGER from the Pick up Coil so that leaves you with 3. One of them is the KILLSWITCH which is easy to test for , One of them is the CDI POWER FEED which would be easy to test BUT YOU NEED A MULTI METER then that leaves one MYSTERY WIRE because usually on the 4 plug CDI the two bottoms are usually ground? Alleyoop I found this:

According to the WD Alley posted, which I believe is correct the Blue/Y runs to the sidestand safety switch. If the stand is down the spark is grounded out.
Black is indeed ground...and Orange is coil feed.
Black/White runs to key and is the kill
Brown gets hot with the key? I'm not seeing that. Let me look again.
You should have Black and then an Orange into a two plug?
And then Green/White and Black/Red and White/Blue and White/Red into a four plug?

Getting there: Alleyoop Find the Trigger wire that goes on #1 and the other will go to # 4. = #1 Orange= #2 Black = #3 = #4 Blue/White= #5 Brown= #6

OK, your colors aren't matching up. Alley is right , the black and orange two plug is ground and coil feed...end of that chapter.
Yes...Black/White to kill
If Brown gets hot with the key it's got to be the CDI power source and goes to the hot side of the ignition. DC CDI I'm assuming
So the last two, the blue/white and white/blue I'm thinking are the TWO trigger wires on the same circuit that we've run into lately. It's an ungrounded AC circuit, I'm just floating balloons at this point since the colors don't match.
If that's the case I don't think the CDI you bought will work. The trigger on that is one AC feed with a ground. You could try hooking the Blue/White into the trigger feed and hook up a ground and see what it does. If it doesn't work, swap the white/blue and see what happens.

Here's the diagram that I thought was correct but it's not:
This shows a B/R which suggests an AC feed, not a brown DC. So to answer your question the Brown wire would go to the CDI power feed port. The Kill goes to the Kill port. The two triggers are a crap shoot, swap them on the trigger port and ground the other, worst that can happen is it won't work. Ground the black and send the orange to the coil. I doubt the CDI you bought will work in this application. Rich
