yes, i know its been 4 years now, but this kinds of chinese scooter story keeps on hunting new chinese scooter owners, there seem to have a curse, no less than DrRocco bcomes a victim, he bought a brandnew chinese scoots did the pdi for almost 2weeks, he didnt attempt to start the scooter until the weather becomes fine, and when start using the scooter one by one the problem rises like a mushroom,, i just didnt know why, from the time his scooter arrived it took him 2weeks before he starts or crank it, he can very well start it inside his garage but he rather wait 2 weeks., bizarre if you ask me!!!
then there is malevelina too, then Kz, who replaced the valve spring on his very slightly used blue scoot, my morphous is 8years old with 28k miles but the engine is still Virgin and untouched!! and he claims that his scooter is better than mine!! oh jizzzz!! eat my dust!

Check out theses test results, Some of the big name high end aftermarket oils (Amsoil, Klotz and Torco) didn't fare as well as OEM Ski Doo XPS2 oil
Anyone with real results with the following oils please post thanks.
Redline injector
Maxima tundra
Legendzx2r
Torco spo or sso
Artic blue
Motul
Spectro sno syn
Rotella t6
I found this info on a Bulletin Board in T.E.S. Racing’s Shop T.E.S. is owned by Tim Sioui who drag races Ski Doo’s on asphalt and specializes in high performance snowmobiles. I believe the info to be accurate and reliable.
ASTM D2670
This is a comparison of anti-wear properties of popular 2 stroke snowmobile oils. This is an American Society for Testing Materials test that is a lubricant industry standard. This particular test incorporates 500 lbs of pressure on a steel pin and vee block for duration of 3.5 hours. There is a 5-minute break-in period with a 300 pound load. The overall wear is expressed in milligrams of lost metal.
The Results were as follows
BG Hi-Performance Snowmobile Oil, Part No. 784S 15.2 Bel-Ray MC-1 47.8 Bombardier XP-SII 66.3 Polaris Premium Gold Synthetic 82.5 Artic Cat Synthetic APV 112.9 Redline 2-Stroke Racing Oil 144.3 Maxima Castor 927 156.4
These Products failed to reach the required testing pressure of 500 pounds. • Amsoil High Performance 2-Cycle Injector Oil • Amsoil Series 2000 2-Cycle Racing Oil • Artic Cat Extreme • Bombardier Injection Oil • Fuchs Silcolene Comp 2 Pre Mix • Klotz Techniplate Snowmobile Oil • Klotz Techniplate R-50 Racing Oil • Torco GP-7 Two Stoke Racing Oil • Yamalube 2-R Racing Oil . Rotella t6
This Oil failed 90 minutes into the test. • Motul 800 Factory Line
This Oil failed 100 minutes into the test. * Polaris Premium 2-Cycle
This may be a little late. I hope the attachment is clear enough to read.

your problem startted since you blocked that auto choke thingie.. so i guess the leak issue is out of the question, cough cough. anyway. that part has its own use, dont alter it. even appendix has a use in our body.

jb weld is pretty much permanent, use silicon rubber sealant instead,it will give it a better seal(from 99cent store),it's easier to remove if you decide to open it again.
my answer should be the last, i hate to see this thread going 4-5 pages then get locked for whatever reason. .. plus, the problem is the OP not the scooter itself. LOL
