oh hey bhinch what is a PDI? i dont understand sorrry, but i am very mechanical inclined though lol Hi frankresso. PDI stands for Post Delivery Inspection and it's something that should be done upon receiving your scoot and before putting it on the road. Of course, if you buy your scoot from a local dealer, this should already be done. Here is a link which should give you all the info you need: chinesescooterreference.com/pdi.htm

The flywheel pullers for these scoots are almost universal. 27 X 1 MM left hand thread. Make sure you turn counterclockwise when mounting it on the end of the flywheel.

Part of the problem with upgrading headlights is the fact that the original reflectors are not always designed for the particular bulb that you are installing. In some cases, they don't even work well with the OEM bulbs. HID bulbs have the light source turned 90 degrees from a conventional bulb. This will definitely give you a different light pattern. Using the adjuster screws to re-aim the headlights will help. I have not seen any replacement reflectors which can match to different bulbs. The fact that HID's are much brighter helps to overcome to some extent the mismatch with the reflector. Another HID plus is that you definitely will be seen much better in daytime driving.

OK have a bit of a problem. I have a wire connector that I did NOT disconnect that is just hanging there I have no Idea where it is suppose to go? Is it part of Alarm system that I did not get? Trying to remember back to when I did my PDI. I know there was a single key-switched wire (black) near the front of the gas tank. I don't really remember the plug in your picture. I think that it is a plug for some accessory like maybe a radio which comes with some of these scoots. I think you will find that the green is a ground wire and the red is switchable 12 volts.

You might want to try reducing the air pressure a few pounds from recommended. These scoots come with low profile tires which can give a harsher ride than the scoots with fatter tires like the Lance Vintage which I believe has 3.50X10 tires. Another option is to replace the OEM tire with a good quality tire like Michelin or Avon which will improve not only the ride but also the handling.

I wish they were 1/4" then it would be easy to take care of. So I am right back to the original question. Where do I get good 3/16" Fuel Line? I used 1/4" Goodyear fuel line from the tank all the way to the carb. Here is a picture of the fuel filter I used. Accepts 1/4" to 5/16" fuel line.

Welcome to SCOOTER DOC fellow YY250T owner. No one has been able to find an official factory wiring diagram for this scoot. I have this diagram which is based on my scoot:

It's hard to say what this thing really does by the name they give it. I know we don't have electric carburetors so the name "carburetor controller" doesn't seem to make much sense. It physically doesn't look like it would handle the regulator/rectifier job because there is no heat sink. Still waiting to hear from Big Guy? Ginny, the regulator is also the rectifier.

Most scoots run the auto choke directly from the stator. Checked the Lance Venice 150 which is supposed to be the same setup as yours. The wiring diagram also does not show the carburetor controller.
