alleyoop how are u? my starter is making a real loud noise when cranking..took it off scooter and it ran great. it had no load on, so not sure it is good. battery is 12.7 volts, I think the starter clutch is binding, and this makes starter slow I thought I needed a new battery, but it test ok. starter seems ok. so thinking it had to be starter clutch making all that noise.. and I have to get jumped sometimes cause starter won't crank motor ... ?help

I starter problems because it was making a loud squealing noise Took the starter off and it ran perfectly check my CVT transmission everything was fine with the noise from belt. I think it has to be the starter clutch squeaking when I turn the starter on. anybody help me with this or know much about putting a starter clutch in my Baccio scooter ,, when I hold starter while it's cranking I can feel the vibrations very loudly. when the starter .is off scooter , it runs. great. pretty sure it is clutch.. any help appreciated

Alleyoop, the b/y wire from my ign coil goes past the battery and goes up maybe to the ign switch. the scoot ran, where could my coil wire go, it didn't go to my CDI, how did I get volts to my plug? my new Cdi gets here Wed.

Yes Alleyoop, there is a Y/B wire he spliced and it goes to the ign. coil..haven't been able to trace to where it is connected. My trigger wire read .5VAC while cranking. When the ign key is turned to run, there is supposed to be 12V at the power feed wire on the Cdi...I had no reading...so i connected a wire to the pos. pole on battery and conneted it to the CDI power feed...when i cranked motor, the Cdi blew up..ooops. got to order a new one again. still i don't know how this scoot ran so good with no feed from Cdi to ign coil. i am back to where i was when i started, except now i will never put a live wire to ANYTHING...lol

Alleyoop, I only have two wires on the 4 prong CDI. top right, coil feed and bottom left ground. I have no trigger wire. does the trigger go to the ign coil? I think the guy bypassed trigger on CDI cause there is a wire to my ign coil and not sure where it goes to. the scoot ran great for 3 yrs wired his way. where do the 2 wires from ign coil go? I don't see how it ran with no trigger wire on Cdi HELP

I was riding one day and she stopped running. it cranks but no spark at the ignition coil and plug. I replaced the CDI, ignition coil, plug and still nothing. I thought it might be kill switch, so i dicconnected the black/white wire from CDI to bypass the switch..still nothing. only thing i can think is ignition switch. how do i test that? i also checked my grounds. Please cna anyone help me...thanks
