Exactly my hope ! I started it for my mom last night, in the dining room, lol! She is very tickled with it. It sounds really good. Can't wait for the real road test. Of course, I'll report!

Thanks cyborg , the size in my existing M.C. are not a problem. The unavailability of a M.C. with the smaller 8mm holes that my mirrors need may be if these seals don't hold on the M.C. I'm looking at universal mirrors with 8mm and 10mm adapters included, in the case that I end up having to switch this M.C. out

Thanks, Alleyoop . It seems that they aren't listed on Ebay anymore but, I re-sent my email SOOOOOOO, she's all buttoned up for now, for her maiden voyage around in the parking lot tomorrow. I have a few minor things to do still; Foot tape, mirrors, license plate but hopefully, won't discover anything major on the first ride. She starts up quickly and sounds smooth! MAAAAN! that console was majorly frustrating to put back together. Its a little warped but... who isn't ?!

SO TRUE! I've found that out the hard way. But when you click on the listing for that one, an error page "404" comes up so just knowing if they have it would be a great start, lol!

The left side is the one that I do need. But, I can't get them to reply to my inquiry. I have found a couple of right sides out there, the left is always out of stock when I locate it. I'm hoping this seal kit holds now and that I don't need to do anything just yet. I bled the brake and its not leaking again, as of yet ! I do have a thread tap for 8 and 10mm, I got them to clean threads on the bike as I went along . Let's hope, this one holds

That's a good idea! Like, filling the holes with JB weld then tapping it. I had considered drilling a 10mm hole into the base of the mirrors and reinforcing them around the outside. I'm a bit skeptical of how strong the composite that they seem to be made of, could hold up. The MC that is an item above the ones that you linked to, struck me as possibly correct but, when I emailed about them (Since, I get a "404" error upon selecting the item) I get no reply about it. So, I gots options! Just not "Stock" options so far. Thanks Alleyoop!

Yes, I got a "Step-child", lol! I've seen other M.C's with 8mm holes but they are all different from mine as to where the banjo bolt connects, what switch type, etc; OR I find the correct one but, it's not in stock. I'll be bleeding that line again, today. Hopefully, it will hold under pressure.

Oh yeah! Worse, come to worst, I found THESE. It's just been so stinking long since Ive had the instrument panel cowling on the scoot that, I'm not sure if given the way that it goes together allows for for these to be used. EDIT: No, after looking at the details on these again, "Package Included: 2x 10mm-8mm Mirror Adapter (10mm is Female Thread Turn Right side to Tight, 8mm is Male thread are the turn LEFT side to tight)" Left side to tight, no workie! Maybe something similar, if I am forced to use a 10mm hole M.C.

Hey Alleyoop ! It got really crazy around here for a while so, haven't logged on nor been able to get back to the scoot for a while. The scooter sits exactly as it was at my last post. No, I haven't had any luck locating one. I found a couple that to the EYE seem correct but, the vendors hadn't listed the pertinent specs and are too lazy to check for the specs that I need to be sure of. One even said to me "Sorry, can't help you beyond what we listed" , and they hadn't listed ANYthing about it other than a pic, and have multiple pieces in stock! Well, with no specs listed and no customer service, they can keep em too ! I found a moment to get to True Value to see if I could find a helicoil insert that might work but didn't score. Possibly GOOD news though, I cleaned up the leaked fluid around the handle and operated it this eve and it isn't leaking at the moment. I'm hoping that the seals may have just needed some time to swell a little and form to the brake cylinder. That would be great because, even ScrappyDogs didn't have the M.C. I needed. I'll have a couple days here that I can play with the scoot now so, if nothing gets in the way, maybe I can button her up and give her a go !
