Cool dealio! No worries, I understand, sometimes you don't know what info to trust until you are more familiar, too. Lort knows, I still have my share of questions! You sound like ya got yer head on straight about it. Take your time. And yes, as long as you keep diligent, I think you will "Love it long time" ! lol!

I would also be inclined to remove the dowel and check those internal threads with a TAP since, you said that the one that came out was stuck in there. Maybe cross threaded or a burr in there ?

Yes, I posted noticing his absence a few days ago too, hoping that he is just takin' a break or vacation and living it up a little! When a fixture goes missing in the kitchen, ya tend to notice, lol! Usually, it just got taken down for a freshening up !

Ha! "Chrome is king"... I refuse to use it, since Google is so invasive of privacy. And I only keep IE on hand for Microsoft sites that wont display with any other browser.I use Startpage as my search engine homepage for privacy within Mozilla firefox. Startpage is great for privacy and sends your searches to Google for Google results but, anonymously. I highly recommend it. classic.startpage.com/I hope the mess clears up for you soon. I wonder if I could help you by allowing you to send a reset to one of my boxes, perhaps while in a P.M. together, so you could guide me with any specifics it asks for, then you could reset your password right away ?

Oh hey, if you do have at least one email account that you divulged your phone # to, they'll let you choose to recover your password that way or, answer security questions. One thing that I've noticed is that "Caps lock" is often ON when I didn't manually choose it, and messing up the input of case sensitive passwords. When I'm dealing with a mess like Windows, sometimes I forget to check that. richardv

Oh man! I know where you're at blu ! I ruined myself pulling off a rusted on swingarm. I've had to work as mindfully as possible, since. If ya have a brace, wear it for support while working. I got one afterwards and it has helped me, quite a bit. You probably already do since, you say you've been telling your DR for so long. If the pillow keeps your back more content, keep it there !

No worry , richardv. I didn't think you meant to insult. I Just thought I'd clarify, in case. You've always been kind. Oh no, the dreaded Windows 10! I'm sorry to hear ya had to go through that hassle! I had noticed last year how windows update had lined up precursor updates in my list to prepare my computer to be ready to install that version. New versions can always be such a nightmare and, Microsoft has gotten so haphazard about their programming that I won't trust versions until they have been tested for a while so, I unchecked the updates and "Hid" them. to prevent the install. My sister went through it too and,I understand that you can uninstall it, if you haven't already. And you can prevent it from trying to re-install it too. Did ya already work it through? Unfortunately, our lives have become so "Cyber dependent" that it sure can make them difficult when something goes wrong.

I did order a new manifold w/clamp and wanted one for the rear but haven't located it yet. Because, the vacuum leak that was messing up my idle, I found at the rear clamp to the airbox. I'll just get a regular hose clamp, probably. YUP! Who could have known what it would take until you're in it, under that plastic. Then, once ya start, you already are invested. Had I known, I may have gone a different direction. You could say a lot of things BUT, ya can't call me a quitter, or skeered of a challenge or hard work. Believe it or not, I've pushed through lots of more nightmarish things. Really still, I only have about 700-800 cash total in here, purchase, license, insurance and all. Time ,toil, and the wear on me bones was the major investment. AND, thank you, cyborg !
