GREAT!! Good battery, good starter and it is cranking the motor over. NOW I have a question the BOOT CAP looks like it is not pushed in all the way on the SPARK PLUG!! OR does the plug stick out that much from the head of the motor. Take the BOOT CAP OFF the plug and get a picture of the plug sticking out. TO ME you are not getting SPARK and or fuel. If you were getting fuel and spark it would have at LEAST ATTEMPTED TO START. QUESTION?? When you turn the key on and squeeze the brakes and push the start button DOES IT CRANK OVER LIKE YOU JUST DID?? Alleyoop Oh yeah it tries to crank over like I did I'll take a pic here in a bit

At that the time I didn't know where it was coming from. I did look again but they wouldn't get here any faster plus I'm pretty much broke till Friday. I even tried to find one that comes stock with the airfilter and airfilter box

Sorry I'm honestly not doing it on purpose I am at work right now so I'm typing really fast on my phone and don't realize what I'm doing. I did like you said and ordered the airfilter sadly it's coming from China I'm hoping it'll be here soon. I also tried to put my hand down over the air intake like you said and it still wouldn't turn over on Tuesday

Not to confuse you but I don't know if it'll help on Monday night I got it started when I went to try and start it Tuesday morning it wouldn't start it sounded like it was going to turn over but all it did was drain the battery

I'm sure it's the battery because I have a full charge on it i don't have a problem with it,I will do what you said with the solenoid.

So now your telling me the electric start is not working? When you push the start button to try and start it do you hear clicking noise or nothing it is dead? DO any lights or fuel gauge work? Oh sorry I miss understood I have lights break lights and blinkers I know with my dash lights they only come on when I turn my high beams on. It does sound like it wants to turn over but doesn't I think I have to do like you said and adjust the fuel mix screw. Like I said before it was doing the samething with the old carburetor. Also I do hear a clicking sound sometimes while others I don't hear anything but I think that might be due to the battery,it'll sound like it wants to turn over so I let off the starter then a few minutes try it again and it'll either click or nothing

I also realize you know more about this stuff than I do,which is why I'm asking for input on what other's are telling me. This scooter is my way around I'm not trying to insult anyone by any means.

tell you what bud, you do whatever they tell you to do I'm just trying to see what others think I'm not doing anything till I know for a fact that's what it could be. I'll do like you said with the carburetor screw hopefully tomorrow I'll try and post a video. I'm also going to replace the CDI box and solenoid because the guy I bought it off of pretty much already lied to me by saying he cleaned the carburetor which he didn't. Like I said I'm just trying to narrow down the possible problems before I have to take it to someone that knows more than me

Please do not listen to whoever told you that the solenoid could be bad (LOL). Sorry but they do not know what a screwdriver looks like and you can tell him that. The Solenoid all that does is send voltage to the STARTER TO START YOUR MOTOR. The SOLENOID has NOTHING to do with the plugs SPARK. So did you do what I asked you to do ? And if so what were the results??
On the carb turn the FUEL RATIO MIXTURE SCREW clockwise until it stops don not force it just until it stops it has a point on the screw so we do not want to break the point off. THEN Turn it counter clockwise 3 full turns. With the spark plug out STICK YOUR FINGER in the hole and crank it and see if your finger gets wet from fuel.
AND SINCE you have the spark plug out RE-CHECK the spark hold it on the valve cover and crank. Well I ordered a new one just to be safe I wasn't able to do anything today due to rain I'm hoping tomorrow it won't be otherwise I might just say screw it and do it anyways. I know when I first got the scooter it ran but had to give a bit of throttle then once it warmed up it was fine, but if I let go of the throttle to soon it would just kick off. I checked the spark plug it was very dark plus I could smell gas as if it were running very rich. I'm at my wits end with this thing I know I need a new battery as well because it dies way to fast

No jumping the battery will not fry your solenoid. What is the problem now explain in detail. I was just asking because someone told me that the solenoid could be bad they said it could happen just by sitting around all winter so I was wondering if that could be the case. They also told me if I tested the spark plug if it wasn't blue the solenoid was bad which I think might be the case because when I tested the spark plug the spark looked more like white and that was with the new spark plug. On top of that the video I posted it was doing the samething before I put the new carburetor in. I'm just trying to narrow down the possible problems before I run into something that I can't do myself

Ok I'll have to try tomorrow the battery is pretty much dead now thing is there are two screws one on the top that's small and one on the bottom that's a bit bigger
