well it's a tank scooter probably a qmj157 engine which is a 149.6cc 57mm piston. the largest bbk you can install with out a case mod is 58.5mm which brings the cc up to 155. any bbk over that requires an engine case bored to match your cylinder jug. for engine ID look for letters and numbers to be stamped on the top side of the long case by the rear wheel. however it seems parts are just laying on it and incomplete. the frame is identical to roketa mc 04 150. and of coarse the original post is over 2yrs already. lol

I like to use the clear fuel lines and place the filter after the pump and before the carb. it's easier to see debris flowing. and it's normal to use a whole can of carb spray cleaner and compressed air when a scooters been sitting for years. lol I have read stories where the air mix screw likes to vibrate out so when I get mine dialed in to where I like it, I will apply some rtv and tape to prevent the loss.

remove the batteries and reinstall you must of put one in backwards or the controller went bad. I have a serengeti panther, it's a 500 watt scooter to where I removed the factory controller and replaced it with a 800 watt variable voltage 48/60 and it has the wiring for a 3 speed throttle. so I installed a 3 speed throttle on it too. at 48v its speed is 20 low 26 mid and 32 mph high and at 60 volts on high it almost reaches 40mph but does reach 60kph. considering most states kept the 20mph max speed limit. its pretty good speed for only a 500 watt motor. I couldn't afford lithium batteries so it has 4 sla batteries in it.

sounds like the idle passage is still plugged a little. when I tore my carb apart and cleaned it up real good the kit I bought gave me a 35 idle jet and a 105 main jet. the idle jet was a 35 and the main was 110 originally but the air mix screw was turned all the way in. I installed the 105 and back out the air mix screw only 3/4 a turn. when I rev it up and let go of the throttle I can here a little back fire going on. when I ripped apart the engine to rebuild it, I thought it had a little to much carbon build up on the head and piston. my next step is to buy a 108 main jet and back the air mix screw out another 1/2 turn.

how much grease is really suppose to be in the variator? I just cleaned it all out and off the rollers. cleaned the shaft and found a little pitting. cleaned up the bushings and removed old and installed new seals, lubed up the bushings were the shaft slides and left everything else bone dry.

it could be that the seat was damaged by the carb cleaner. I've come across to where the seat swells up with carb cleaner to where very little gas gets in the bowl with a swelled up seat throwing off the needle and float adjustment.

that looks to be a hard one to locate. I went to roketapartsdept.com and that body style was not there. but being Chinese made does not mean that there could be a different body style that can bolt up in place.

on the dc cdi does anybody know what the voltage should be on the pulse signal??? this is the Honda clone engine and the scooter is a Shenke sl250-2 looks like a Lance Duke. YY250T-2 I removed the kill wire from the cdi plug, battery voltage is correct and the pulse is around 4.5vdc then drops off. so does that mean that I need a stator and pickup?? the ohms on the ignition coil checks ok. its a new cdi but you get kind of scared when they say its a dc and it's the size of an ac
