Well it's a fact. I am officially addicted to my scooter. Thank you all for helping me not only derive this addiction, but also providing me with the information to complete each stage of the rebuild process. I just installed a HUGE horn... i cannot wait to use it..lol Here are some pics of lucille, she has almost no signs of the original yellow(except for her wheels) now if anyone has any tips or tricks on how to paint the wheels that would be great. thank you all, let me know what you think

Found it! Ok so I found it, but the replacement I bought is only a two wire, and the original Is a three. Should I just bring my original to the auto parts store? Also if the new one doesn't have The wires marked, then how do I hook it up?

The scoot is a 2008 bashan 150cc I removed all of the body panels, and have checked around the entire scoot. It's not up front, and not in back by the gas tank or engine. I'm pulling my hair out trying to find it... Any ideas would be appreciated.

This Is going to be the thread of my current project. This is a 2008 bashan with 1400 miles on it. She has been laid over many times and neglected her whole life. I have taken her in and now thanks to these forums I am going to be restoring her slowly. Her name is Lucille due to the fact that when I bought her I agreed to keep her name "Lucille."
So far I have taken her apart and found out that the horn itself is bad. I am also unable to get one of the stripped screws out of the master cylinder, so for the time being she only has rear brakes. Does anyone have any suggestions for a more accurate tachometer and speedometer???
I plan on doing a full PDI on her before she hits the road.

I like it! I bet with the vents sticking out like that you get a forced induction action or "ram air". even if only a little bit every little bit helps..

ok thank you sprocket that is the type of info i'm looking for.. I also have a question about the redline on the gy6. I have found that mine seems to have no end, allowing me to rev way to far... what is the stock redline on the gy6 as i do not want to over rev...

Dyno a gy6?

I was just wandering if anyone has ever had a gy6 powered scoot on the dyno? I also was wandering if anyone has posted what kind of gains they have gotten for a specific mod. such as a thread that only includes given mods and their results. or perhaps a thread with the first suggested mods to get some more performance out of the gy6. I have been unable to find what I am looking for using the search function. I apologize if it is in the forums and i am just having trouble finding it. Thanks Jake
