Just put them on and I likes it. Don't know how legal they are, but I very rarely ride at night. Attachments:

I tapped into my license plate light to light 2 12" led strips on my scooter. They come on when key is turned on.

Plenty of them here but nobody with a board that size! The supb guys don't tend to carry them on mopeds due to the size and it becoming a sail. I would imagine longboards would be the same. You are probably a lot safer with a shortboard, much less chance of it catching the wind and changing your lane for you. Whilst I doubt there is a specific law preventing it, there are likely to be several 'vague' laws which could be applied should the trooper wish to do so (overloading a vehicle? etc). Thanks for the reply. I ride a 10'6" because I'm 61, 240 lbs, and have a titanium hip. Add it all together and you have a slow to get up guy. I can take coast hwy. all the way except the last 1/2 mile where I have to jump on the frwy ( San Onofre )

any surfers out there that have put one of these on their scooter? I have a 10'6" I am going to carry on my Piaggio bv500. And I can't find any info about them being DOT approved. I will ride with it until I get notice from the highway patrol. www.carversurfracks.com/csrmoped.html#Attachments:

Thanks. Looks like the easiest way if to just remover the wire coming from the safety shut off switch on the handlebars rather than try to work 6" off the ground. D:\Notes\motorcycles\Piaggio BV500\2011_04_28\P4060240aa.jpg[/img]

Well, thanks God, not only did I secure the Stella, but I had my faith in my fellow man restored as well. Because of one guy you now trust all fellow men??

Put it on the Center Stand and put up the Side stand. Alleyoop Well the reason I ride scooters instead of motorcycle is because I had right hip replaced and it is very hard to swing leg up and over the seat. Also hard to use center stand. I've done it 3 times and it feels like the bike is going to fall over to the opposite side. Not a lot of strength in my right leg. Swinging my left leg over doesn't feel right because the bike is leaning to the left. Also not good to plant my right leg and pivot on it.

Any one know how to by pass the switch or where it is? I'm sure I could find it if I looked, but it's hard to see under the Piaggio BV500. I want to be able to start it up while I gather up my helmet and gloves ..

My neighbor behind me dresses in surf garb all day long. Surf trunks, tee shirt and flip flop. He just took the motorcycle safety class and got his license. So, he goes out and buys a 2006 Harley Fat Boy with all the extras and chrome flames and studded saddlebags....Once a week he puts on his Harley garb. Harley tee shirt, Levis, boots and black leather jacket if cold. He leaves the drive way and is back within 1 hour. He's back in surfer garb within a hour. Come to think of it, I see him load his surfboard on his truck once every 2 weeks and he's back within 2 hours.
Where can I buy a Piaggio tee shirt??

I can see that he locked his rear brake up in video 3. Use the front brake before entering the corner!!
