Yeah the foot peg brackets def get in the way of a few things. I'm pretty sure there is a plastic piece you need to take off of the variator cover first.

Honestly it shouldn't be much different. I don't exactly remember, but it should just have the same amount of bolts as the long case roketa , it's the same engine just ours looks a little different.

I just saw you said the air filter was soaked in gas , so I'd def say that the float valve isn't closing off the fuel and your flooding the engine

Well I hit 81mph on the the interstate!! I used my GPS speedometer on my phone that records your average and max speed . I ran a WOT for about 3 miles and hit 81mph . I averaged 60 mph , considering it records during stops off the exits and on the smaller highways . Def a fun ride

Only 2 hoses should be coming from the gas tank, the fuel line and the vent hose. The vent hose has to stay open . If it won't stay running with it open then you have an issue somewhere else. I'd say your getting too much fuel or not enough air flow at the carb. If you clamp the vent hose , your restricting the fuel flow to the carb , and if it actually runs better clamped , then I'd say your def either not getting enough airflow to the carb or too much fuel . Possibly even a stuck float valve in the carb bowl.

I know this thread is old but I would have checked the top end to see if it's getting oil to it. Chance the pump stopped working and now there is no oil to the top end

Update: I ended up buying a bored out engine case and doing a new 63mm build bc I had a bad oil leak and I also had a cracked piston skirt after the last one. I went with the new Roller rocker arms , taida high torque starter, 18:36 gears, another new stock crank , 15 gram roller weights , taida variator and clutch assembly, oil cooler and I ordered a koso temp gauge . I also bought a set of wider and taller 100/90-14 tires, just have to put them on yet. This thing runs great , I also switched from a junk cvk carb to a maikuni flatside. The throttle response is so much better along with the throttle range . No more dead throttle spots and so much more throttle on the big end. I clocked it at 72 mph at 5,000 rpms and had to slow down bc I had a car in front of me. I used my phones gps speedo app so I knew it was accurate. I weigh a good 225 and I'm sure this thing will hit 75mph .

I have a blue one and a black one. The blue one has a 63mm BBK build with a bunch of other mods. I actually just recently finished it. So far I've hit 72mph on my GPS speedometer then I had to slow down bc a car was I front of me . I'm concerned about engine Temps, I already hit 210 degree oil Temps. My stock ran about 170-190 degrees . I have an oil cooler so I'm prob going g to have to install it.

It's prob as simple as adjusting the carb. You will find out that as the weather gets colder and hotter , you will prob have to make adjustments .

Have you disassembled the clutch to inspect it?

Does the scoot bog down under weight or do the rpms climb and the scoot doesn't move ?
