JR. Thanks for the reply I do have 12 v on the blk wire on the 2 plug when cranked. I do have 2 vdc on the blu/wt pulse wire from stator to blk/wt at CDI 4 plug when cranked. Green wire at cdi to ground Key OFF-ground o ohms Key ON= 300 ohms
I've had the scoot for three years bought it new. This started by the scoot just shutting off when I was riding it. I pushed it in a parking lot, looks to see if anything was obvious, tried starting and it did start. The next time it shut down about a half mile from home and would not start so I push it home, after checking things over is when I noticed no spark on the plug. I have spare coil, cdi and new plug that I swapped in, still no spark. Not really knowing what I was doing I guess so I replaced the stator, still no spark. I don't see how I could have put the stator in wrong because there are only two bolt holes to line up. I'm stuck.. Harv..

Here are the readings. 1.Kill in RUN: Key Off = 0 ohms. ON = 272 ohms blk/wt wire 2. " " STOP: " " = 0 ohms. " = 490 ohms " 2. " " RUN: " " = 0 ohms. " = 112 ohms blk/y 3. " " STOP: " " = 0 ohms. " = 112 0hms " 4. " " RUN: " " = 0 Volts DC. ON = 12 Volts DC. blk wire 2 plug 5. " " STOP: " " = 0 " " " " I measured these twice but if any don't sound right let me know and I'll do them again. Thanks,, Harv. When I did the post bit, the line info doesn't come out the way I typed it but I guess you can read it..

Ok, still no spark at plug (new Plug). Kill wire checks good to ground with Key On and Off and Kill Switch On and Off. The problem I found is with ohm meter lead on a good ground at the battery and the other lead to the green ground wire I read about 3 ohms with key Off, key ON reads 20 ohms. This is with all the green wires disconnected from Stator, CDI, Coil, Enricher and wires to the back of the scoot. Before I take off the front panel to get to the Rectifier and Key switch is there any reason I should read 20 ohms to ground on the green wire with key on.. Key OFF = 3 ohms. Key ON = 20 ohms. ? Thanks.

Thank you very much for the diagram and explanation !!. Now I have something I can follow.. I'm wondering why all the trouble shooting help has been with AC Stators vs. DC ?. More AC systems ?.. Anyway I took my shoes off and recounted the coils on the stator,, there are twelve,,, not eleven,, DUUHH.. OK, I'll get back to the scoot and hopefully find my problem.. Thanks again.. P.S. I entered the pic's of the Stator and CDI sort of after the fact for practice..

Thanks for the replies, I'm happy to be back on the Best scoot forum !!!. I backed off on the scoots when my wife went through open heart surgery that thankfully worked out very well.. Then I reluctantly acquired Glaucoma mostly in the right eye. The Doc has that stabilized but poor vision in that eye.. Things are going fine tho and we're happy. Thanks for the encouraging info on my Stator and CDI Bashan.. That will sure help.. Hello John,, I'll see how adept I am getting pictures in here tomorrow, Thank you.. Harv..

Hello all, It has been a while since I came on the forum.. I'm confused as usual.. I have a Znen Pacifica 150 ZN150T-18 and I'm having trouble figuring out the color hook ups for the wires on the CDI and Stator. My colors and number of wires don't match up. The Stator is an 11 pole. Wires coming off are 3- Yellow, 1- Green, and 1- Blue and White. The three yellows must go to the Voltage Reg., Blue and White is the Pick up or Trigger wire, but it connects to a Black and White wire. A Green wire to Ground. I don't see The power wire that is supposed to go to the CDI.??. The CDI only has four wires to it. Three wires (BK/WT, BK/Y and Green) to the four section terminals and One wire (BK) to the two section terminals. I can't seem to find any Schematic that matches up with the amount of wires or color codes. The schematics I've looked at all have the Four wire - Two wire to the CDI. My problem is no spark at the plug. I've swapped the Plug, Coil, CDI and Stator..The Kill Switch is in the OFF pos. Sure could use some help on this. Thanks..

It works fine.. I could only get two bolts lines up with the fan bolt holes, but I would have been stuck without it.. Great tip,, Thanks again !!!.
