This puller is 27mm, should be correct for the 150cc, 139QMJ engine. I put the crank nut back on flush with the crank shaft threads, Used a hammer, a piece of hard wood and smacked the thing about a dozen good blows---- No luck there either,,, Bummer..l I guess I'll have to find another type puller, any tips on that ?.. Thanks..

I have a problem that others may have had and can give some tips. To access the stator, I removed the crank case nut, removed washer, screwed the removal tool - left hand threaded - all the way in, secured Fly wheel with a strap wrench. When I screwed in the removal tool to remove the Fly Wheel the threads on the tool and maybe the Fly wheel stripped. I'm stuck !!. I contacted GY6 Racing team that I bought the tool from, waiting for a reply. Has any one had this problem.. Thanks,,, Harv..

Thanks again Rich. I think what threw me and maybe others is the misnomer - A.C or D.C Stator. I couldn't see how you could get D.C from an A.C device. Also the many differences in color codes involved don't help.. I've got it now tho. I mainly wanted to get my head straightened out before I take the thing apart, order parts and etc. Thanks again for the help,, Harv..

Thank you alley !!!. I've been going around in circles trying to figure out a D.C or A.C. Stator. Figured there must be some voodoo in a D.C. Stator...

Refer to above: How come all the Stators I'm finding have the Yellow, White, Green wires. This is where I'm confused on having an A.C or D.C. Stator. ??. Thanks..

Alley and Bash.. Thank you for the replies !!.. I'm a bit slow getting back on this.. That sure helps explain the difference on D.C. and A.C wire colors. I figured my wire colors must have been the only left over wire the Chinaman had left hanging on the wall of his garage !!. The wire colors from the R/R are 3 - Yellow, 1 - Black/white and 1 - Green. I didn't take the cowl off to verify this, but it is the wires coming out of the loom to match up with the R/R that matches up with the orange, Green, Blue on the Stator side.. The Stator may be 8 pole, I was just asking if (6 pole) you could tell before I took everything apart. The Green wire looks melted in some spots . How does a Ground wire over heat when the other four look OK ?. I guess I'd better order a Flywheel puller,, Huh ?. Thanks again, this is the Best Scoot forum... P.S. How do I know if I have an A.C. or D.C. Stator ?. I know now that I have a D.C. R/R. Thanks.. But does the Stator put out A.C. , then Rectified, filtered by the R/R to D.C. then to the CDI. eh what ?? The Stator is a 3 pin, 2 wire.

I have a Znen Pacifica with the 157QMJ engine. I have suspects about my stator going on the fritz. Engine quits intermittently, plug checks good(very weak-some times no spark, swapped Plug, Coil and CDI. My problem is, before I take it apart I am looking for a decent wiring diagram that matches the colors I have coming off this stator : 3 - Orange, 1- Blue, 1-Gn. All the diagrams I have found show: 1 Green, Red, Yellow, White, Blue I'm sure the Green is Ground and the Blue goes to the CDI. Is there a proper hook up for the three Orange wires and can I tell before I take it apart,, is it a 6 coil Magneto. Thank You.. Harv.

Thank you very much alley !!. I didn't seem to have this faltering system previously.. I put in lighter sliders to help on the take off lugging problem and it helped, but at the same time I put in a big dose of Seafoam witch probably didn't help. I guess I won't know about changing jets until I try this. I have the carb off, will clean it up. I'll syphon out most of the gas in the tank, put clean gas in as a starter. I sure thank you for all the help and good info you've posted over the last three + years I've been a member.. Keep up the good work... Harv..

I need help on a few questions : 157QMB engine. There is no change in rpm's when I adjust the A/F screw,, Bottom to 2/12 turns out slowly by quarter turns. Change jets ?. I haven't pulled the spark plug to see what it looks like yet. I have a falter when I give it gas on take off, I have to set the idle speed to approx 2k to get rid of vibration. Won't idle at 1500 rpm's. I put maybe too much Sea foam in the gas,, could this cause a problem ?. Thanks...

I've looked around and haven't found the tip I had seen some time back. Is there supposed to be a certain shiny area on the outside circumference of the Variator showing belt position ?. Thanks..
