Thanks John, that may be an option for me to think about. I'm not sure what the problem is yet, it could be a bad R/R, but I did notice that my connector that melted wasn't totally plug in on the one side, I'm thinking that its been arching for some time, I remember smelling something burning for a good while but didn't know where it was coming from, so after I fix the connectors, I can test my battery again to see if it charging and go from there.

Hi Bo, Your enricher needs to be in all the way and should be tight, after putting my enricher in I gave it a 1/8 to 1/4 turn in to make sure its tight, any leaks, it will be too lean, and after you put carb back on, it may take several cranks to start because the gas has to come back into that carb

I was wrong, there are three wires on bottom plug and three up top, bottom you can see where the wire go, top they are twisted, what happens if I get the wrong sequence when hooking it back up

Hi Bo, looking for leaks, get spray bottle of water, as scooter is running spray all the vacuum connections, if the idle goes up or down you have found your leak
