I have the MC-54-250B roketa scooter, I use the 80w90 for my gear oil and 10w40 oil to change my motor oil, I don't think it would be good to use the 10w40 for the gear oil, gear oil is more designed for those gears.

I don't think you need a CDI, (If you do, I have a spare CDI) I still think your problem is the air/fuel mixture ratio screw is not set right. I don't know about that carb, I don't think it could be used on your scoot, (but Alleyoop would know) I using a plug NGK R D7EA Spark Plug,(I think thats the number, I can check when I go home) supose to have a hotter spark, working good for me.

Took scoot to work today, had no problems, seem to be working well  ;D Its suppose it get around 43 today, nothing like being on the open highway again |
