MC, been there, done that so to speak. Snake Doctor, That weather you are having upcoming
in TN is headed our way, should be here by Sunday and the second cold wave hits Monday-Wednesday. Enough with the weather already!!! (My best NYC accent!!!)

46 this afternoon here so I made a post office run on my TGB DEl. 150. Nothing to it!!!
Just put on my riding shoes, canvas pants, sweat shirt, firemans head shield that covers
the face and neck, leather riding jacket, heavy leather riding gauntlets, and lastly the helmet.
managed to get astride the scoot which promptly stalled out because of the extra weight of
my riding outfit. Not a bad 15 mile ride once underway but lonely as there were no other
scoots or bikes on the road but me and the orderlies from the institution that were trying
to catch me!! (I hate cold weather!!!)

Congrats, Puddle Jumper, both on the coming grandchild and the return of your son
to the fold. You are blest! My children and I put aside our differences 5 years ago

It is 19 here this morning and has not been out of the 30s for highs for this week. Warms a little for the next few days into the 40s but the next cold wave hits on Monday
and by Tuesday morning the low will be 9!!!! Not sure if this is setting a new record for this area but after living in GA for 55 years I dont remember any thing like this in December.
Usually our coldest month is Feb.. I hate winter!!!!

Gee, now I am sorry I mentioned the weather!!! 8^( You Yankee boys make me grateful
that it is not any woprse here. 30 right now going to 19/20 by morning with a steady 15-20 mph wind. Cold enough for this old man!! My wife is in PA doing some survey work and if all
goes well will be flying home tomorrow afternoon. It was starting to snow when she got there
Sunday afternoon.
52 in FLwill freeze your butt ons off. I was partly raised down there so I know!!
Time to throw another dog on the bed and snuggle under the covers.

I dont know about you guys but we are experiencing
record breaking low temps for the next week here,
15-20 degrees below normal. Highs will be in tghe 30s
lows in the low 20s/high teens. No riding for now!!!

And I am thankful for my family: 5 children, 2 stepsons, 15 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and dont ask me for the ages, I cant keep up with the names!! And
I am thankful for a great forum like this to correspond with a great group of riders.

What Luke said. And always dress correctly for the ride. Doesnt matter if it is a short or long ride. Unlike that punk kid Luke(41 indeed!!! 8^) ) I am on the downhill side of 74 and I always keep my eyes moving, on the scoot or in my cage. Ride defensively and drive defensively.
Just kidding, Luke!!! 23 years of riding gives you an authority to teach proper riding approaches.

Thanks, wildman. There has been such a long list of problems, minor and major, on my IB150-8 that I still tend to think that IB was put on the market with little quality control the first year.
Hopefully for the sake of other buyers, they have cleaned up their act for the 2010 and 2011
models.

David, mine is out of warrenty. IBs warrenty is not the best I have seen. My dealer is a close
personal friend. He tried to talk me out of buying mine as he had had simular problems but
I bought it and learned a lesson. I run mine here on my place, mail box and back. and may put a gocart rear end on it. I envy you the mechanical abilities that I wish I had. It is still fun to ride now and then but my TGB Del.50 and my Tank Touring 150 give me much better and
trouble free servcice. I do tend to agree with your diagnosis.
