Good on you, Jack and on Alley and friends for designing the carrier. This is a good example of the scooting community helping each other.

Here in GA you are required to wear a helmet if you ride, period. I feel that wearing one tends to give a bit better survival rate. I live in the country on a state 2 lane road. Used to see bike riders pedaling 4 abreast and tying up traffic. Now the speed limit on this road is 55 but most cagers are running 70. The bicycle crowd came from surrounding towns. Have not seen any of them in groups lately, just one or two now and then. The local Sherrifs Dept. started advising them not to ride these roads for safety reasons and I heard that a group of them got powed by a cager. No one hurt bad but it put a scare into them. Stupid can get you killed.

A great move on your part, Rich. I have a friend who has 2 Tomos scoots, one for him and one for his wife. My dealer, Mountain Moped, is a Tomos dealer and says the Tomos scooter is a quality machine. I have an 02 Tomos Revival modded to 70cc that I will never get rid of. I use it as my TTMH (teeny tiny motor home) bike when we travel and as a pleasure ride at home. It has never given me any problems. You should enjoy good sales on this line.

JR, I would beat your bid and go $775.00 and no helmet(got too many of them now) but I already have 4.5 scoots and am saving my funds for a side car unit or a serious trike. Big Guy, it looks like you are making real progress on your diet. Congrats!!!

Last couple of days have been in the high 20's in the mornings and low 50's in the afternoon. I starts warming of into the 60's and mid 40's from Monday on. That is good riging weather but I will be out of town most of the week.

2 TGB Taiwanese scoots, 1 Tank Chinese scoot, one Chinese IB trike, and a Slovanian Tomos moped. My TGB Del. 150 has nearly 7000 miles on it, most put on by the previous owner who never had a problem with it, and 1500 miles put on by me with no problems so far.

No, JH, I agree. I have windshields on all of my bikes, even the Tomos. Not fond of eating bugs. And I like the looks of the entire line.

I would go for the Stella. Have done a lot of research on this line and like what I see. You can get the 150 in a 2 stroke with 4 speed tranny. Basically an Indian built Vespa. Genuine has a good stable of scoots. I do like the Ruckus look. Both my TGB Del. 150 and My Tank Touring run at 55, GPS checked. The TGB cruises at 55 and tops out at 63 while the Tank cruises at 50 and tops out at 58. I have given a lot of thought to adding a Stella to my group,---maybe down the road.

Oop, by being banned who is the loser?? Certainly not you. While I may not share the same regard for the IB that you do I do read and value your comments and your sharing of knowledge. This is something that The Dark Side has now lost and we still have. Dark Side 0/Bright Side 10

Thanks, Alley. Will do. Thought they were the same but could not remember for sure. I can tell you what happened in 1941 when i was 5 but I cant tell you what i had for breakfast today. It is a disease of the elderly called CRS. Most of us suffer from it. If that Burgy ever goes missing I can tell you where it is!!! 8^)

Is Wildman and David Sr the same person? If so he has been waiting some time for those parts, or am I confused as usual? I have the set of gears that IB sent me when I ordered a transmission from Jim(not his fault) and I will be glad to sell them for what they cost me if anyone needs them. They are for the 09 150cc tranny. I am not going to spend any more time on mine, just using it here on the property and may put in a go cart tranny someday. It is a good mail box trike !!!! I want Oops Burgy trike!!!!!!!! But right now want and afford are a ways apart what with business slowed down so much.

I have a Tomos Revival, great bike, modded to 70 cc. Handles most of the hill around here. It is the motor home bike. That Honda looks like a great project. Keep us informed please.
