Buy the new BMW scoot and look down on the rest of the new scooter world. Now this will be the last scooter you ever have to buy.

I actually like the looks of that thing.... but the price... that'll hurt. I think I'll stick to my more realistic dream scoot: the T-MAX.

$5,000!!! Did you read the specs for it as it stands now? Faster than a Kymco 500. A 500 Kymco is more than 5K. You're probably looking at a near $10,000 scooter.
That's why I said "Ready to become scooter snob?" This will be the BMW of motor scooters. The TV cameras for rear viewing probably cost more than a couple of Chinese scooters.

10K??hmmm still way cheaper than the Spyder,i'd still consider buying it,but after a lot of thinking and arguement with the wife.lol the rear camera is awsome-ly unique.. a total bombshell, nice but joshua has a good point,.. bmw is a fantasy--Tmax is the reality. but i really think BMW company should start with 50ccs to test it's marketability.. let's see how they shine with scooters. here's the blogspot: www.bmwblog.com/2010/11/02/world-premiere-bmw-concept-c/p90067664/

I definitely see a TMAX in my future... I just hope it isn't a distant future. Though, it'll be as an additional scooter, since I'll never give up the Matrix... too much invested in it, both financially and emotionally. but joshua has a good point,.. bmw is a fantasy--Tmax is the reality. Luke, I'll say it again... there are only two people that I allow to call me Joshua. My mom... and my wife. ;D

ha ha ha,,so it's more of a family thing..lol ,,alright. me too, i think Tmax will be my next and last scooter. it has all the quality i like in a scoot.,plus i'm planning to do longer scooter trips in the future., it being 500cc is just about ideal scoot for it's power and gas mileage. .. better than 400cc/600cc/and 650cc IMO.
so see you @ the Tmax forum....sooooooon!! and ey better start emotionally detach yourself from your matrix this early..lol

Man, that thing isn't just ugly, it's f-, er, hideous looking! I'd love to have my Stella or Vespa, I'd be a real snob then! (I already look down my nose at cagers when I ride)

Wonder if it's made by Kymco as I saw Kymco and BMW was working on a scooter concepts together. BMW's 650 engines gets made in China somewhere. Now if I was buying with my heart then this one would be the one for me. I even have the service manual for it already www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/Motorbikes/Motorbikes/Scooters/auction-311818874.htmI'll then be not a snob but an Italian hot head! ;D, look down my nose going 200kmph and loose my driver's license

LMAO, I took one look and thought "I like it so of coarse everyone else will think it's FUGLY". The only one who liked it rides a royal blue Laz-E-Boy.(no offense Luke)
I think your all low-balling the price thou. BMW badge is worth a few $K.I say starting price @ $15K but what the hell do I know. Just look at my avatar!
M/C
KiWi, thats the scoot I used as a "on my wish list" avatar on the dark side. SWEET

I like the look of it. Part scooter part BMW motorcycle. I'm sure the price tag is up there and if I were to guess I would say 10 grand without the add on's. The shame of it all is that no one in the good old USA will make a scooter.

If you guys think the scooter will be expensive imagine what the helmet and riding gear will cost? Heine Gericke will have special riding apparel for it made from expensive fibers.

just looked at that bmw again. lcd display instead of side mirrors? the more $hit they got, the more to break. I really prefer the KIS Principal, except few makers of any thing adhere to that. Would love to find a basic car that did not have all the extra $crap hanging on it. In 89 I bought a new 88 yugo...best little car I ever had, didn't go fast, good an gas, out side of the battery and rubber parts nothing much ever broke. cat converter lost its insides but it still passed the Illinois pollution test. The Chinese scooters come real close with the KIS principal and as quality control is getting better my hat is off to them. john
