I found out today I am going to be a grand daddy. My oldest son's g-f is due in June! This is probably the greatest news in my life and I can't wait to hand her/him back when it after I've spoiled her/him. I hope to know what they are having in January. SO do me a favor have a good belt and share the wonderful news with me in this crazy time in life. John

congratz. Gran kids can be great payback. ;D My grandson comes over for an evening or weekend. He's 6, I load him up with sweets and goodies buy him a real loud toy and send him home. ;D

Congrats John! Roy hit it on the nose. Buy the grandkids LOTS of battery powered toys and stuff that needs assembled. My folks bought my son a battery powered motorcycle that drove us nuts. Hey - I see Walmart selling battery powered scooter trikes. Get one now and save it for a couple years!

The father to be called me today and its the first time in 2 years since we spoke so hopefully this will "clear the air" between us cause even though we haven't spoke he is still my son and I will always love him and his brothers no matter what. I can't wait to SPOIL the child rotten and hand him/her back if you know what I mean!

Congrats, Puddle Jumper, both on the coming grandchild and the return of your son
to the fold. You are blest! My children and I put aside our differences 5 years ago
and it was a great moment for all. I have 5 children, 4 living, 12 grandchildren, and as of last week my 13th GGC was born. My family is scattered like seeds in the wind but we are always

very funny Luke. No my son and I aren't like Paul jr. When the wife and I separated he said and I believe that mom had a lot to do with his anger issue toward me. I knew in time that his issues would calm down and I knew he wouldn't last no speaking but I'm taking my time with this so nothing messes it up. People might be surprised exactly how old I am. and yes I've already thought about the electric scooter. lmao thanks

oh sorry to hear that puddly jumpy!! hope everything will be straighten out this christmas,and with the grand child comming it will be a good idea for the family to re-unite.
why don't you reconcile with you ex-wife.....you might have done something really naughty that she got really mad....anyway, i think i'm being to nosy here. sorry... good luck puddle!! and congrats!
