A general question if I may. When you guys put your tour box on your bikes, did you glue the rubber seal around the bottom, and if so, what did you use, please. There is no way my rubber seal is gonna stay on. It comes off every time I open the box. Thank you iin advance. Harleyann1

I got the gear oil re-filled yesterday, Saturday. Not much came out when i attempted to empty it. Anyway, what did come out looke really good, not like the motor oil, which looked like mud! Added a 'hawg' to the front fender off my Honda Shadow, some buttons and bows and rode about 50 miles. Chain became loose but that was to be expected. No other problems so far. Since I did the PDI myself, I was very proud of it. Will be taking it to a motorcycle mechanic this coming weekend to check my work, have the wheels balanced and, hopefully, off I go. Thanks guys. Alley, you and Mike are the best things since white toast and grits!! IMO, you two seem to be walking scoot dictionaries! I'm loving these forums. Harleyann1

I have ridden Harleys, Honda's and now have an IceBear. I have ridden in some pretty bad thunder storms as I ride on road trips, I live in Georgia so Cherokee NC and Biloxi Miss are short trips for me. Just remember to hold your speed if possible. Avoid ALL puddles, stay away from the painted stripes, ride to the right in the tire lane if possible cause passing cars and trucks and blind you with their spray, not to mention the oil slicks inbetween. TURN ON THOSE BRIGHT LIGHTS ~~~~It's hard enough on the heavier bikes, at least they hold the road better, but these little light weight bikes are really hard to keep on the road in rain. "Best rides on bikes are the DRY rides". I hope this helps a tad. Harleyann1
