Could be that the Pilot jet passages are clogged if it sat for a long time or its the valves or both. Alleyoop Hey Allyoop, I came in posted this and racked my brain, then (duh moment) I remembered that these have a manual choke. I went to garage pulled the choke and it started right up. Woohoo!!! She runs perfect.

I just ask up front to bear with me. It's a question about the Harley I just got. But, I figure I'll ask my friends here.
I drained all the old gas and put in some fresh stuff with sea foam. So, gas is good. I unscrewed the float drain and see that it has gas in it, but it won't start.
When I spill a little gas into the carb it tries to start. It really seems like its just not getting any gas. It has been sitting for a while, do you think the jets are clogged and all gummed up?

I have never been harassed by them. I usually get the low wave. I have many come up beside me and ask what I get per mile.

Two scootdawgs??? are they both open at the same time??? I know I'm not up on things would someone please explain ? Do the same people run both sites ? There are two scootdawgs now. Dot com and dot net. Its a big mess. Apparently, a guy named Mike bought the original. He then set up scoot dawg.net and transferred all the threads, and tried to close the old one. Proboards stepped in and opened up the original again. Now, we have two scootdawgs. A lot of legal issues regarding this. Here is something that is interesting. Just to let you know face book is the stupidist idea yet. I would not go to face book if it was the last internet site out there and I am not the only one that thinks that way. . Wow, man you really don't like Facebook. Haha I enjoy it.

I kept the 60w in to see what would happen. Today, I went out to start the scoot and it was a little slow to turn over, but she started. I noticed the light was not on all all, so I took it out and rode for a while to recharge the battery.
The bulb had a weird foggy look on the inside?

Well if it is free shipping then its the cheapest your going to find. The next cheapest I found was 18.95 some are asking over 20 and some even over 30 for that same screw. Alleyoop Expensive little buggers.

Yah, I have to get my hand down there holding a screw driver now, this should make it much easier. I don't know about paying $17 though.

I was looking at a video on how to rebuild a Motorcycle carb and they were using an easy adjust mixing screw. I would really like to get one for my scooter. I wonder if these would fit. Here's a link www.cv-performance.com/ez-just-mixture-screw/
