Got new Kenda K413 120/90/10 tire I couldnt believe it but the max psi is only 25psi? Im used to the Cheng Shins max at 36psi and thought that was weird it only called for 25psi rides nice and smooth!

Whew! Installing a Kenda K413 130/60-13 tire is the hardest thing I have ever done! It took a large man standing on the tire, plus me working tire levers to get the last part of the sidewall over the rim. How u like those Kenda's? I just ordered a rear 120/90/10 for my Bali 250cc,

Anyone know if a 130/9010 will fit on rear of the Bali 250? Originally came with a 120/90/10 wandering if anyone knew if it would fit or be to wide?

Im going to try out the 34psi in the rear hope that keeps it from wearing quicker till I get a new rear tire asap Thanks to everyone for there help!! This darn Chinese manual dont help at all!! But if anyone thinks I should be running a different psi let me know. I am 120lbs, I got the Bali 250 with a 120/70/12 front going to run it at 30psi and run the back 120/90/10 at 34psi unless anyone thinks otherwise!

Sounds like your gonna hurt yourself overthinking tire pressure. Your tire wore out quick because its a cheap brand, its a rear tire, and its a 10" one at that. You should always use the rating on the tire itself. If it says 36 then your good at 36. The 10-15% below max rating was a suggestion to soften the ride a bit. It sounds like a good suggestion for you since you only weigh 120 lbs. Im making some since of it now! LOL My old scoot had the 13inch wheels not a 12 front and 10 rear so the smaller rear spins more going to wear sooner then the front and 30psi was not enough air. But ur saying its fine to run it at the max 36? But for a little softer ride since I am only 120lbs I think I will run it at 34psi. I have been told 2-4psi less then max and the 10-15% which would be about the same as running it 2-4psi lower then max?

30psi front and 34psi rear is what I was told should be good thats 2psi less then the max 36psi and 2psi lower then max for the front at 32psi max. Sound good to u guys??? I have been told pretty much by everyone that I was running the tire too low at 30psi when the max is 36psi?

normally on a car tire, worn down in the center like that would be OVER-inflation, but since this is a rounded MC tire, that would be LOW pressure causing a wide section to wear, and wear faster. i run about 2-4 lbs less than the tire is rated for, during summer. remember heat expands everything including the air in your tires~! never listen to the vehicle manual or vehicle badge. your tires are what matter, listen to them! Thanks that is what I was trying to figure out if I was running to Low or too High sounds like too low! since the tire is rated at 36psi max ill drop it down to 34psi, 2lbs less then max and Ive had the front at 28 ill go ahead and bump it up to 30psi it will be 6lbs less but its wearing good and, the manual and the scooters badge have a 4lb increase in the back compared to the front so I want to keep that. both rated at 36psi thats what really had me confused cause the front is a 120/70/12 and the rear is 120/90/10! And the Manual has them listed as 110/90's cant listen to it!! But fronts wore great but ill bump it up a couple pounds too and then take the back to 34psi if u guys dont think thats too much psi on a 36psi max cold rated tire? ? Thanks alot I will be replacing the rear soon its got a little thread still left not down to the markers yet but very close!!!

ok so if I use the 10% less then the max that would be 32.4 I will run the 32 thats 4psi lower then the max 36psi like benellibob suggested unless u guys think go ahead and run 34psi that would be 2psi less? But will be getting new tire for rear ASAP just want to make sure I dont ruin new tire either!! From reading all the comments sounds like I need higher pressure then the 30psi I have been running 2psi not much difference maybe run it at 34psi? Im worried about the max being 36psi but thats cold max rating so as long as im at least 2psi under it wont be to much pressure? I didnt want to have a blow out from too much psi! I dont think I have to worry about the load since im a small guy only weighing at 120lbs?

That looks identical to my Lance Duke 250 and I just put new tires on mine. I bought Shinko 110/90-12 and filled them with the 41 psi rated on the tire. They are identical scooters but I still got the Cheng Shins original tires with 2800 miles they are rated max psi cold at 36psi on tire, but my manual states 28psi front and 32psi rear, the max rating on the scooter is 32psi front and 36psi max. I think the wear came from only running 28-30psi in rear then since u guys are saying more pressure to not flat spot the rear like what has happened. So I should be running 28psi front and 32psi rear since I dont have no full load just me 120lbs? Then once I get the tire changed the new tires will have a better rating then just 36psi cold max on them, it will have the recommended psi for normal load on them too?

I have a 9amp battery but I thought I have heard of Docs putting bigger amp batteries then that too, guess more amps the better for the battery life and Im sure it would have more cranking power.
