for me never blow greasy hot engine gas back into a device that has heat and dirt as a enimy. make a catch can or tape padded bottle to catch that crap. and block the head vent hole to air box so it does not suck in dust. the head vent breaths air in as well, thats how it blows air out, so have a small bit of a filter, over the device that catches oil and breaths air. none of that makes any sense to me? head vent hole? "never blow greasy hot engine gas back into a device that has heat and dirt as a enimy." Its a drain it dont suck in. I just lost the Air Filter Blow By Hose. Why would I need to block anything off? Im just looking to put a new piece of hose back where original one was in the pic. My question is why was the hose closed off at end? just to collect the oil the drains so it dont get all over the scoot is only thing I could think of why it would be closed to collect the oil? In that case no big deal I would just run a longer hose so if any oil drained it would drain closer to ground instead of getting thrown all over the scooter.

How important is it to have the air filter blow by hose I just noticed i lost mine and im working on finding a piece of hose to replace it if its "needed" and wandering if it needs to be closed off to collect oil? I was thinking it was really just to keep oil from being thrown all over and with the hose and closed end it collects so theres no mess? basically how important is it? thanks alot!

I have a 09 it has the MC-13-250 decal too. It was even sold as a Roketa Bali 250 but has the Jonway YY250T-2 on the V.I.N badge. Never had any overheating issues (knock on wood) so not much help there but I have asked about the Model having two names and alot of others have scoots with both stamps too.

Before moving it to memorable posts, let's wait to see if it actually works for him. Coolers are designed for metal on metal surfaces. This could very well end up INSULATING the device (a common problem with cpu coolers if you apply too much thermal grease, don't sit it right, etc. had that problem with the first computer my buddy built he used too much thermal grease and caused the processor to get hotter then normal instead of keeping it cool.

@ ardy202 I hope ur not jumping ur scoot off a car! Not a good idea I have blew some bulbs doing that with my old 150cc it had same problem, have u had ur battery tested? Could be a bad battery not holding charge? If its good then u need to start checking ur wires like the grounds and all plugs. I am betting its the R/R I changed the stator first on mine and turned out to be the cheaper part with the regulator causing my 150cc not to charge the battery. But get ur battery tested, and dont use a car to jump start. I heard u can do alot worst then just blow some bulbs I got lucky. If ur battery is good use the multimeter as described earlier to track down the issue.

My scoot charges fine but my lights stay on and they do brighten and dim with the engine. well really just get brighter when I rev it up and then goes back to normal heard it was normal with them running off the engine? I havent had any problems charging I get home from riding and throw it on the trickle charger after riding a few days and never takes long for it to show its charged. But I have never tested her on a volt meter my dealer did when he did my PDI and found my brake was staying on running the battery down I noticed the lights dimming more then. I thought I fixed the brake light from staying on but when I had PDI done to figure out why i kept melting light fuses it was back on again almost been a year and they have stayed off now and havent had any issues (knock on wood) but lights will still get brighter when the motor is revved, then they are while idling.

U all have the 244cc cfmoto clone? I got stock rollers on my MC-13-250 (Bali 250) and have hit 72mph with little throttle left. That was GPS (the stock speedo is off) I only weigh 120lbs and was on flat ground but figured I could of hit 75mph. I bet once I get into changing roller weights or sliders I can hit 80mph with my little butt on it! LOL

Think it would be ok to run front at 26psi instead of 28psi see if it softens the stiff front end up so it aint such a hard ride thinking it might be better ride at 26psi front /24psi rear?

Those are really good four ply tires Wease old buddy. Usually these types of tires are built of stouter stuff with stiffer walls. Go with what the side of the tire says, they made the thing. Rich Thats what I am doing thought it was weird to get one that called for that low used to running 32-34psi in the stock rear. Tires alot better then the stock a way smoother ride! Going to run 2psi less and run 23psi (feels good) and 4psi less in the front till I get the set of Kenda's I want havent been able to find anywhere to buy them but only needed a rear right now going to save up money for them there the K764's www.kendausa.com/en/home/motorcycle/scooter/k764.aspx Thanks for advice Bashan!

My plate says to run the front at 32 but the tire is rated for 36 the back is rated 36 max too but plate says 36max for rear. I been running 2psi less then max using the 32psi as the max for front. 30/34 now dropped it to 28psi in front about a month ago now got new rear tire yesterday with a 25psi max rating on the tire so I been running it at 23 and 24 both feel good keeping it at 23psi to keep 2psi less then max. But what to run in the front the tire says 36psi but plate 32psi? So far been over a year and 28 psi feels best have tried 28-32psi in it.
