backwards compression=sucking? that what i told him i said"and with backwards comppresion, you can still run? i still have the same power on my scooter" and he say "yes ivee seen cars and scooters that run the same on backwards compresion, so as long as you put oil in there, you should be fine, and once you get the money to fixit, bring it too me and ill fix it.."O Lord please....

Do NOT listen to that mechanic and do NOT let him do a bunch of crap for a ton of money. He's full of it and feeding you a line of bull. Backwards compression, now I've heard it all. Get us some pictures of the problem and we'll get it fixed for free. Rich this aint no facebook, but i like what just read, lol...i got my scooter naked, and its an oily mess inside, ill post the dirty pictures, give'it a good clean, ill take the scooter for a ride and hope i can take better pictures of where the oil its comming from. thanks for your coments, i use to own another motorcycle, small one, and one time a mecanich charge me 200 dlls for a job he never did, it was going to change the piston and rings, God knows what he did , but i bet it wasnt that, as later i really had to change the piston and rings only to know that the parts where not vailable locally, and i had to waith a month for the parts to get here, sometime if not most, mechanics here want to take advantage of what it looks like a big problem....

i need to get my scooter naked and then i will tell you with pictures and details from where im getting that much oil, i took the scooter with the mecanich and he thinks my compresion went backwards...so im getting sad and exited at the same time, sad because that means i will have to stop riding for a couple of days, exited because i might need to mess with the engine. On a closerlooks the oil does not seem to be from the VALVE COVER VENT HOSE or the traini, it looks like its coming out from somewhere ealse...ill post more evidences tomorrow. thanks for your attention.

It seems like i aint going to finish soon with this scooter, now the scooter has started to dripp oil from the dripping hose , but its not like a drop or two, its more then that, and it hapenseverytime i stop the scooter, lets say i drive from my house to work, 10 minutes drive after i check the small hose that catches the oil its full, so i drain the thing, going back home, same thing. I remember that ther last time i changed the oil , i put too much oil in it and thats why i started to have some troubles, but that was more the one month ago, so i wonder if i should change any gaskets and wich ones or what do i have too look for, thanks for any help

I think i found what it was, when i first changed my first belt, i used a flat screw driver to open the clutch pulley, and damaged the puley and left a small metal (bump)? i dont know how to call it, my english its limited, anyway, that bump was scratching the new belt while i was driving, causing the belt to snap very quick, i sanded that bump yesterday, since im out of cash to buy a new clutch pulley and installed a good belt yesterday, so hope that would fix things while i get more cash, and ill check for my clutch today and post results. thanks for the tips...

I have used the search function for this one but it didnt came out with something, I know the engine spits oil to the air filter compartment and that thats normail, but spiting oil from the carb? i have cheked my oil level and it seems normal, althought last time i over filled, and want to think maybe a gasket got damaged and thats the reason my engine its spiting oil, thanks in advance for any help.

Well time willtell, i just installed a new belt, the cheepo kind, there arent other kinds locally and i have to wait weeks if i buy online cus i depend on a friend of mine. I also bought a new variator, and hoe this time last longer. And to answer a few questions, yes, last time when the belt broke i did clean the whole thing really nice, i did put the rollers in place. But i think i know what the problem was, beside the cheepo belt. When i installed the belt, the belt didnt fit nice as in the video i saw here, so what i did i turned the engine on and the belt did got in place, but got a little damage as well, so i thought "no big deal" turn out it was a big deal.So now that the belt its new, the variator its new as well, hope i can ride my scoot for 2 or 3 months without problems.
Now a new question: Can i ride the scooter without the belt cover? or is it dangerous? as i want to build one of those customs cover. 120 dlls for a custom cover its alot of money here, but i can build my own for around 25 dlls. but i would require to ride my scooter without the cover for a least one week, thanks for any feedback on this matter.

Well , me again, seems to me that this scooter dosnt wanna ride on ruff roads, anyway , while examinating my rear tire, i found that the scooter was missing a few screws, maybe the preview owner or whoever assembled the scooter did a bad job at it, so i took advantage that i was doing the job to check on the muffler, and found out that the mufler its all broken into ppieces inside, if you shake the muffler, you can hear the pieces inside like a maraca. lol Anyway, i went into ebay to see if there are good deals on mufflers and found price ranges betewen 40 to 299 dlls, so being that the dollar here its very expensive im coming here for advice on what to buy for the best price. the cheaper the better, i do want silence, thats the way the scooter was before, so thanks in advance for any advice.
