they got full engines, ill see if i can get a good deal on it, about the parts, wich parts are usable from a 125cc that i could use?

Well, last time i broke my engine due to a bad time setting i had, and im still saving money to rebuild my engine, however, i found a yunk yard that has lots of gy6 125cc engines, and i can get a full head rebuild for less then 45 dlls, im guessing that if the engine need rings, then it won be more then 50 bucks, but, the cuestion remains, does 125cc and 150cc had the same bore? (whatever that is) thanks for any help.

whe i had the same problem ,the buzzing came from the starter, like if it didnt had anought power, but once i recharged the battery, it worked like a charm, after 2 weeks battery started to deschrge littel by lttle, thats when i started to find for a short or a loose ground, wich i found, then after that , no mpre problems...battery has been charged since then...

I had the same problem on my scoot, just recharge your battery or buy a new one, after that your scooter its going to start, if it does then chek your scooter for loose grounds that might be draining the battery, i had one on the stop light, and once i fixit, no more battery problems... good luck

this is an interesting topic , for one side, i dont believe moster site would sell a case like that, but we all make mistakes from time to time, from the other side, when an engine mess up like that it makes a mess ,it probably did thet to the case, but, im no expert, maybe some folks from here can really give an opinion on wether that case was bored by hand or by a machine. My advice to monster site, contact the customer, check your cases to make sure they all are machined not by hand, make an investigation about it. lets not get all cranky in here and start blaming before we know the real facts.
And i said that because i know im one person that can mess up an engine, my bike was running smooth until i decided to change the oil myself, lost of oil started to spit everywhere, after that i decided to change the rings, and BANG a #%*!ing valve broke down and now my engine its sitting at my back patio waiting for some rebuild parts, i dont blame anyone cus i know im not the expert whos learning and thats the pricei have to pay for it...

So last time i mess with my engine, i thought everything was good, WRONG, last night my engine broke down , so today i took the head out and OMG what tha hell happened.... my piston its like.... O SH(*T I think im goingg to order some performance parts now. wonder if my vale just melted or if it went inside the engine. Does anyone have an idea what could go wrong? thanks for any help.

Now that i know i can mess with the engine,i wonder what upgrades can i do,too make,it go faster...right now my top speed is 45 miles,50 if i force'it,i would like to be able to reach 55 to 60 with regular power,so i wonder if theres a bigger head and piston i can install to achieve this, current setup is gy6150cc, thanks for any help.

Did you gap the rings and stagger the gaps and hone the cylinder wall? In a GY6 the rings only go in one way correctly...use nonnsynthetic oil for first 100 miles i did all that,thanks.....

The rings will need seating too and will the smoke should stop when they do. Don't hammer it until the engine breaks in. Keep your oil checked. Rich wise words,thanks

I just put the new rings on my scoot,adjusted the valves,and it apears to run good,but this morning,it took like 15 seconds to start,and lots of white smoke came out of the mufler,after 3 minutes no more smoke,scoot runs ine and after that it starts fine everytime,any advice on what to check? thanks for the help
