Yup....time for a new motor. Not many parts left to work with. Bet that was a pain to get apart all bent and broken like that!

Alley: I bought that case from MonsterGY6. I hope it was not a dremel job.
Yeah I worked hard and it hurt when it crashed BUT I was extremely happy of what I learned and how I did something new and though I only rode it for 10 minutes, I conquered the beast. I will be building another engine by months end.

WOW that boring job is horrible! The boreing tool they make for that is expensive usually running a little over 100 dollars but its work it. or taking it to a machine shop they can do it exactly for about $35.00. What cylinder kit is that?? What Number?

Yeah I bought both sides from Monster earlier this year, and between school and parenting I did not have a lot of time to get it straight until I got back from Italy. I am quite sure that if I were to complain they would deny any and everything.
Walter: That is a 63 mm bore case.
I am not sure what happened to cause the problems. I adjusted the valves and fixed on oil leak and put it back together. I adjusted the Carb and cranked it up. Took it up the street for about 100 yards and the engine stops. Everything was torqued and the engine sounded great. Its looks like the connecting rod gave and I do not know why.
I have been buying little stuff here and there to improve the engine and calling scooterelements so much that I think of Walter as family now. He helped a great deal with getting it to that point.

It is always best to get a matched crankcase set when building an engine from the ground up like you just did. That is true not only for a GY6 but also a Vespa aswell (like for my P200E project ) . Each crankcase has its own little things particular to the set. If you split them up and buy seperate halfs , your asking for trouble !! They may not match up like a complete set would have. will c.
