Just watch your speed(cause she's gonna be a helluva lot faster), ride defensively, and always without fail try to anticipate the dumbest possible moves by the cagers and you'll be fine. I started out on a Kawasaki 440 LTD cruiser bike(not much more engine than the RT) and then moved up to my Suzuki Intruder 750 with no problem. Hey, where are those pictures? ENJOY!!

Well I finally got around to installing my new windscreen(Slip Streamer Scoot-50--got it at Christmas!) on the RT and tried it out on a 20 mile jaunt in 40 degree weather wearin' a baseball cap. All I can say is...NICE ;D. Wind is directed up, over, and around me and ride is much quieter. Only my hands got cold. I'm sure the added wind resistance will affect my top end but she didn't have any trouble gettin' to 60+MPG. And yes, serious modification to the mounting hardware was necessary. Here's a couple of pics.

Took a 90 mile ride on the trike the other day. Very nice and smooth ride. All went well....until the next day. I found a puddle underneath the trike. There is water leaking from the point where the "joint" pipe from the water pump attaches to the bottom of the engine. I have plenty of coolant in the reservoir. The engine now overheats. I either have a bad water pump or a thermostat issue. I give up. The trike only has 3,920 miles on it. There is issue after issue. On a lighter note. I just purchased a 2012 Suzuki Burgman 650 Executive Model earlier today. Good ridden Sunny, hello Suzuki. Sunny couldnt even help me with my water pump issue. They need pictures or a part number that I, MYSELF, need to find. Hey Justin! Congrats on the Burgman purchase! That's a very sweet ride that I'm sure will be trouble free! My '88 Suzuki Intruder 750 has never given be problems and she'll be an antique this year! Soooo, did you trade in the RT or are you gonna sell her? Wouldn't blame ya but I'm stickin' in out with mine and will keep tryin' to keep her roadworthy. Post some pics of the new ride soon! ;D

Update to the story... Still have not received the micro-switch from Sunny/ScooterDepot. On the plus side, the customer just bought a brand new Can-Am Spyder. $17000 worth of sweetness. Problem is he would like us to by-pass the micro switch. This would allow the bike to potentially be ridden in the locked position. We could always remove the locking mechanism, but my partner has serious reservations that it would leave us extremely vulnerable to litigation should the customer have even an unrelated accident. ???Wow! I guess the 300 TKB's work differently. I can most definitely ride mine in the locked position(though you sure wouldn't want to), but you'll be listening to the sweet music the stupid tilt lock alarm makes the whole time. So if I'm understanding you correctly you're saying that if the TKA's already runnin' and you engage the tilt lock it's supposed to kill the motor? So how are you supposed to start it and idle it up--on the center stand only? Seems kinda stupid. Of course so are people and that's why everything needs to be designed stupid-proof these days! ;D By the way, the Can-Am is a pretty sweet ride(I rented one before buying my Roadrunner) but for me, no tilt=no deal. And that little part of keeping an extra 13 grand in my pocket was kinda nice too. But if you've got the money and don't mind the way that thing handles it is one helluva high quality vehicle with an available slick as snot semi-automatic transmission.

75 degrees today in south Louisiana. Took my wife on a ride this afternoon for a couple of hours on our PST150-H. Engine is doing a lot better with the 29 tooth sprocket. Oh sure, rub it in with your 75 degrees! ;D Well it got into the sixties here and I did get the RT out for a short time. Aired up the tires and raised them all off the ground and let her sit in the sun for over an hour. Had her up to about 55 mph without much of any vibration even when braking.(I'm thinking the tires had flat spots from sitting and being a little low in pressure the last couple of rides I had before winter because the vibration was pretty severe on hard stops until she was warmed up). She's runnin' pretty good so I'm lookin' forward to warmer days. Hell, the fuel gauge even worked!

might not hurt to email the link for this thread.......negative talk here isn't going to help them sell more of them scooters. john Not a bad idea I'm just not sure how much "weight" our threads carry, or even if it would lead to reduced sales would our Oriental friends just drop the model and start up a new clone? You can tell they just use the same general components in model to model and put a new body on it or a different front or rear end. But there is power in the people so I guess if enough of us shed light on their shortcoming which hurt their bottom line enough we may just get them to improve their quality yet!

Well, here it is a week and the dirty bastages still haven't sent my part as promised. By this point I don't really care about what excuses they might have, They have lied 4 times in a row and they have stolen my money,Yes I said stolen, by law when you take someones money with no intention of giving them what they paid for, well, that's stealing right there. Sunny put out a very shoddy product with the Roadrunner, at least they could make it right by trying to at least offer upgraded parts. This by far is the worse automotive buying experience that I've ever had. >:(All I can say Daddue is "that really sucks!" It's absolutely crazy that they don't even seem to know their own product to be able to send you the proper new parts. Pretty scary actually. Why can't they send you the entire new motor mount instead of just bushings/bearings? You would think that the updated parts listing would be the new part(? maybe/hopefully?) or they could at least reference it to get the new part in the current production(unless they're gonna drop the MC_D300TKB).

well the size 135/70-13 will NOT work. The tire will not fit because of the placement of the engine. I'm just going to purchase a good brand named tire 130/60-13 like michelin or bridgestone tires. I might look around and compare sizes of possibly a new wheel size. The latest tire that wore out of round was a Shinko tire. I'm not sure if the quality of the tires is what is causing them to wear out of round or what. Justin, you need to check that wheel to see if IT is out of round. A lot of times a wheel can be out or round but still be able to be balanced but will hop at higher speeds causing just that kind of wear. Have them remove the tire and spin up the wheel to check for being out of round. Or if possible, have the new tire/wheel road force balanced if they have a road force capable machine.
