Hi, thanks for your response. I just have a question? Is it possible that there is something causing it to overflow? I mean if I plug it up, will it cause the carburetor to flood?

Hello Gatekeeper. I am having the same leak with the gas bowl valve again. This time it's coming out the nozzle instead of the bottom where the screw is. Is this a replaceable part or is something else causing the overflow?

Hello everyone. It's been a good while since I last posted anything, but here goes. I have a gas leak coming from a little part on the right side near the oil dipstick. Someone told me to tighten the little screw inside the bottom of what appears to be an overflow valve. I did so and it stopped for a while. Now it is coming out of the little nozzle to the side of this little valve. Does anyone know how to correct this? It is the same valve as before in my previous post.

Better fan

Ok. I know that the OEM fan is approx. 4-5 in. Diameter. The fan that I bought is approx7" diameter pulling 3 amps. I noticed that it was too big to fit like the old fan did so, I widdled away at it until it fit dead center of the radiator. I bolted it on with bolts and nuts. (Double nuts as a safety) BAM!!! It is perfectly centered and mounted. This is how it looks. Does anyone think that this will cause a problem with the weather(water) being that it does not have a shield to keep it from getting soaked? Any ideas? BTW, It moves a heck of a lot more air than the original fan and just as or quieter than the OEM one. Check it out. i57.tinypic.com/2ir3ips.jpgi61.tinypic.com/2ztiyic.jpgHere it is the bike with the fan and the grill that I had to alter. Well, what do you think? i58.tinypic.com/2v8leg1.jpg

If you blow up the pic, you will see what I'm referring to. On almost every fin, there are small fishers /fractures. Take a closer look. I would think that in a matter of time this fan wheel will eventually shatter. I took a look at a brand new fan and it most certainly did not look like mine as far as the fractures go. Anyone else have any opinions?

While inspecting my variator, I came across this. The variator fan looks like it was glued back together after it had exploded! How can I post pics? I do not see the attachment button.

Thanks Bashan. I did not think it was the crankshaft either. At most it sounds like a bearing of some sort. Like the above post or in the rear section of the bike. ( wheel or the fan bearing in the CVT) When I take off, it sounds normal. There is no knocking, banging or vibration nor grinding.
What I concluded was to just ride it until a new sound or problem arises. Ride baby ride.
Thanks again for everything.

YES! It sounds just like that but it is not coming from the engine part. It is coming from the REAR WHEEL. Is there a replaceable bearing for the rear wheel? If so, where is it and what is its proper name.
Scoot info... 2012 jonway yy250t or cf250 motor Roadster.

I have 2454.5 miles on it. By the way the fan and thermos work perfectly. How much for the variator?
