Might try mixing 10g sliders and 14g sliders for making 12g total

I was thinking since you said 11-12g rollers that by getting sliders I should get 10g I already have 14g sliders and 12g rollers so I'll try different combos...thanks alley....should I go ahead and change the coil/cdi and plug or wait for more mileage only at 150 mileson scooter have changed gear and engine oil twice

Alley so I've rode my scooter for two weeks now and the top end seems strong I haven't maxed it yet but at 7k rpm I had it up to 70mph on the speedo which is 60mph GPS and it still had more left but since its new I backed off....1st thing I've noticed is that if I do 50mph for a few miles and start to go down a large hill I let off the throttle to slow the rpm it jerks almost like I'm hitting the brakes but its only like a split second....2nd my scooter off the line seems sluggish like a car trying to take off in 2nd gear and kinda sounds the same..... are these normal issues? I'm buying a bigger carb (26mm) from john think that will help? Also I was going to try some 10g sliders but john wasn't sure if our scooters use 18x14 or another size?

So is there a certain amount of miles one should put on a new scooter before doing gears and bbk?

Thanks guys and don't get me wrong I love my new scooter was just misinformed which is why I put it to the pros....one other question tho if money wasn't the issue, what would be the best things to do to my scooter to add a little speed 5-8 mph but most important make it reliable and last a while....I'd love one day to do a bbk and stroker possibly but what would it take to keep it durable with that kinda mod

So just curious because I just got the new scooter 150cc rock thunder aka mc-70-150cc and ppl have said its the same frame and body that the 250cc comes on....so about how much would a new fully assembled 250cc engine and the oil cooler cost and how hard of a swap would it be? I really wanted a 250cc sleeper but hated how they are so big and not sporty....any insight on what all parts would be needed and how difficult it would be welcome and thanks in advance
