I took my Ohn meter and set it for continuity and tested the 2 prongs on the coil and it shows I have continuity, dont know if this is the right way to test it or not. I'll wait for Ally I'm sure he has had this problem before. Thanks cyborg

I'd check to see if the coil went bad,,,,that's the unit on the other end of the plug wire,,and also check if the coil is getting power also,,,,could be the cdi isn't sending the coil the signal to fire as well,,, How would I go about checking the cdi also how do I check the coil? I took my test gauge an put the black prong into the plug wire and put the red wire on the contacts and they show 8 0hms, I'm not to good bout reading test gauges I basicly checked for continutiy kalee

Alley, How do I go about getting the seat up when it wont unlock ?
kalee
Apparently my seat being locked is due to the ingition switch not unlocking the latches, I removed both cables from both locks for now seat is working okay.

So when you took if off COLD it was like the SECOND picture? If so then it is extended and will not feed extra fuel for cold starts and will cause some hard starting if the temps are below 70 degrees. If so then get a new ENRICHER for that carb. Alleyoop Yes it is like the second picture. So if it is loading up on fuel at idle I need to adjust the carb right? I thought maybe it would be the enricher. Thanks Alley for the info. kalee

No no fuse it is direct juice once the motor starts. But an ENRICHER is easy to test. Take it off and lay it on it's side, cover the hole with your thumb and start the motor let it idle keeping you finger on the hole. Now within 3-5 minutes or so you should see the enricher extend the valve out. If it does not extend out then the enricher is not shutting off the extra fuel for cold starts. Here is how the enricher should look COLD AND AFTER 3-5 minutes after the motor is started. Alleyoop ENRICHER RETRACTED WHEN COLD: ENRICHER EXTENDED AFTER 3-5 MINUTES OF MOTOR RUNNING: I checked the enricher while it was cold and it dont retract, it is in extended mode all the time. kalee

Alley, Is there a fuse on this 2010 300cc trike for the enricher or is it direct juice the one on this 300cc dont seem to be working? I'm pretty sure this is whats making it load up on fuel.

Mine is a 2010 Magnum 300R and it has independent rear suspension. what year is your model? Yes that is a fender bracket bolt. The two on the outside hold the clamp around the axle and the one in the middle allows for some adjustment of the fender. Roy Roy, the one I'm working on right now is a 2010 300ccZA IB magnum but its a little ruff. Looks like its been sitting outside which down here in south Tx. isnt a good idea because they rust so bad. This trike belongs to another person and she is in the hospital and ask me if I would ride it once in a while to keep everything lubricated. It has a few problems and I have not been thru all of it yet, ( Its just to hot here to work on it afternoon )I guess I'm just going to start it up once in a while and keep the engine lubricated. kalee

Check the brake reservoir window it may be low on brake fluid if so take the cover off and fill it so it looks like there is a little bubble on the top of the window. Then SLOWLY SQUEEZE THE BRAKE to get air out of it. It will shot up some so DO IT SLOWLY otherwise it will squirt all over the place and as you do this you will start to notice pressure coming back. Alleyoop Alley , I tried the process you told me about on bleeding the master cylinder but didnt do any good, whats next replace the cylinder? kalee

That's a fact jack and a early one that axle on them was a 2010 version a straight axle then they changed the axles and differential on them made them with independant suspension with cv joints. Which brought on different set of problems. Thanks Alley & Davec, I thought maybe this bolt had something to do with holding the axle in place. I sure would like to have the differential thats in this trike installed in my trike mine is a 150cc IB but it probably wouldnt work, this differential looks like one in an automobile no slinging grease like the one i have. kalee

I'm laying on the cement floor looking up at this bolt, the threaded bolt sticking down is one of the bolts that holds the fender bracket on the axle housing and the other bolt with the head is the one I'm talking about, this is a ZH-300ZA trike not sure if it is an Ice bear but thinking it is.Brake calliper and wheel would be at the bottom of the picture kalee

What trike do you have and what is the problem? There are no such websites that I know of that shows how to fix anything on a trike axle. But if you can explain what your problem is I may be able to help you and or Jim From Rapid Repair. It all depends on which axle you have on your trike.
