Ok.. I have been dreading gettin into the cvt again... but guess this weekend I will check er out.. maybe drain my gear oil since break in of new clutch is done.. and refill... shoot maybe it has a leak and I don't have any fluid in there... I will check...

That thingie is called a heat shield... and yes it was checked..
Ok.. now I am worried.. I am starting to "slip" on take off.. and I have to give it a lot more gas to takeoff... comeon pros.. I know you can help me out here

I have an 08 Xingyue 260 with 1200 miles her... If anyone here needs anything at all just ask... i will be the cheapest your gonna find... if you can find another price for what you need.. i will cut that price down by atleast 1/3 maybe even in half. it has the Linhai 257 cc.... it burnt orange Right now i have all parts, body, frame, engine, and so on.. again.. if you need it I got it These are stock photos    I am offering parts here before i post them on ebay... might as well help yall out first.. in my opinion.. if your gonna get a "bike" make it a real bike, meaning let it have a bigger engine that is speedy and capable of highway rides
Scooter engines are for scooters... just my opinion though

I think you should think about a 250cc... they are not too much more... and they will hold speed and value better... I rarely get passed by normal drivers... just the crazy idiots who go 15-20 mph over the limit... I cruise right at 60 mph easily.. max out about 68 mph...
just a thought... buying used is not a bad option if you have the guys on this forum to help you out, or if your able to do it all yourself...
I got my 250 that runs for 550 bux with 1300 miles on it...
I got my 257 that does not run for 1100 with 600 miles on it...
So it's all a shot in the dark... NEW or USED... Goodluck to ya

Ty! Everything external checks out.. I mean a few bolts were slightly lose but did not help rattle at all.. I have a feeling its something to do with the shaft I put it... I will check it sometime soon.. any other suggestions are helpful thanks

There are many threads on here about batteries.. just look through the them.. you will find one - many- that tell you how to test the battery and see if it is getting charge..the batteries do wear out.. but make sure yout bike is actually charging the battery by following steps...
Your issue sounds more fuel related to me.. if it did run then it should have stayed on even if the battery was low or dead... hook up the multimeter and rule out the battery first

Yeah I put in gear oil.. I don't think its shocks because only happens when I give it gas. And I checked over the exhaust.. but I guess I need to recheck with socket...

I have started to notice a ratteling noise coming from the rear of my cvt or back tire... I only hear it when I am on the road and accelerating... not on stand and not when cruising without gas... like downhill nothing... but if I hit the gas at all.. it rattles.. I don't think it is my exhaust or I think it would do it reving on the stand... the noise is progressively becone louder and louder... slowly but I can for sure tell...
Thoughts... suggestions?
