Emery will get it off but it's probably just a coat of rubber on there. Some carb cleaner and a rag should buff it off. Blueing is highly unlikely due to those faces probably being aluminum, not to mention if they were getting hot enough to actually blue an alloy, then your belt would be a gooey wad.

I thought that was common knowledge. If you biff it on an ATV, chances are, the damn thing is tumbling right after you.

I was surprised at how easy the maintenece on my new Znen is. Spark plug: 3 screws, 3 nuts and ur there. Valve job took less than 45 min first time in!
<Edit> I should say that there's no reason in the world that I should have had to do a valve adjustment on a brand new scoot, tho.

Ouch! Glad ur okay! That always sucks.
For future cases of a rear slide, keep in mind that you absolutely should not brake at all. U'll have a better chance of riding it out.

If it happened, it happened. The only thing you can really do is replace what bent. What part actually bent, tho? The steering stem runs thru the steering head. Uu couldn't get eyes on that without some disassembly.
