Is that a hard tail? The only rear suspension I see is the springs in the seat.
Was it in 1965 that Kawasaki came to America? Yikes! They introduced the 500 triple in 1969 only four years later. Talk about an ambitious program.

I had a 1974 version. By then they had put it in a better frame, calmed the plug fouling and it was still one mean sucker if you woke it up.
It also wasn't a bad long distance bike either. I had a handlebar mounted fairing on mine and did 900 mile weekends, once a year, regularly while I owned it.
