OMG thank you ZugZug I saw that video a couple years ago. Couldn't for the life of me remember where ;D ;D ;D Throw a kit on that B!tch !!!! Ya gotta love it As for the Lance Campeau vid, I talked with him last year too. subscribed to his You tube page. Some of his vids made me want a Streetmate, To bad he's in Canada and has different moped laws. Seem He is more into trains though I think Tomos is the last true moped maufature and I REALLY want one. Was it Big Guy that added Tomos to his Dealership line? I would give him my business without a second thought!!!!!

Not sure if I posted it the right section (move if needed). I wanted to buy a Tomos Streetmate or LX with my tax refund but. Our local dealer no longer has those models for sale. (Only the Nitro Scoot) Does anyone know where I can get a decent deal on a Streetmate??? Or a scoot with a similar style??? Thanks for any Ideas

I would recommend Changing out ALL the fluids and perform your own PDI. This will help to familiarize yourself with all the parts and where they are located. Adjust the valves around 500 KM or if it's hard to start. Others may have better advice but, Be safe and have fun!!!! I don't think It's necessary to oil the filter unless you go with a free flow UNI type. The vent hose should be more than enough on a stock air box. I could be wrong though.

I have Scrappys Orange Coil and CDI on my 50cc. The Plug boot is a little loose but, I have had no problems in the last year or so. Very decent product for the money. You can get a new boot from any auto parts store. Have you adjusted the valves lately? That could have something to do with the hard starts. Just a thought before spending money on a Coil/CDI package

OK so where are the scoot pics? You got 2 new cameras (nice save BTW) You broke one camera and had to buy Two replacements. His and Hers. There is a lesson to be learned here. If you bought yourself a new camera without breaking the old one you would still be in the doghouse!!! Since you replaced the broken one and made sure you never have to use it your a Hero. You came up with a Win , Win situation. 2 New cameras and no arguments, congrats!!!!!

Everything old is new agian!!! I have an original Commodore 64 that still works better than modern video game consoles. I also own an Atari 2600 with original box and a few hundred carts. Then I have an original NES with robbie the robot, still working like new. I know this is not a video game site so most of that is going over some heads. What if you still had a 12in GI. Joe action figure sill in the box Or, Original Hot Wheels set with that orange track in the box?? Some of you may remeber the childhood toys worth thousands today. I also have my first IBM 286 and windows 3.somthing in the original boxes Learning DOS/C++ and typing 100 lines of code for a screen saver. Ahh the good old days!!! Remember the Dot Matrix Printers? Or your first Fax???

On My 50cc I adjusted the valves at 500km. Then checked again at 1000km. The engine should be broken in at that point and every 1.5/ 2k after that. A larger displacement may have different rules though. Just my opinion. If it gets hard to start check the valve clearance and battery.

I do like the idea of an electric bike. Carbon footprint and all that jazz. The price as mentioned before puts it out of my league. I do wonder though, Being almost totally silent could that be dangerous on the road? They say loud pipes save lives so, what if you don't hear anything?? It's hard enough not being seen Very cool bike but, for 1/2 price I would go with one of these www.californiascooterco.com/ ;D Not really the same animal at all but, cool all the same.
