I got the hid kit today. But I gotta replace the master cylinder on my truck first. The kit and contents. I got a long list of to do stuff and not enough time to do it all. Vacation time is runnin' out. I gotta prioritize. Roy

I/2" fuel hose is not common. might be hard to find cheap. Clear vinal tubing will work, but it tends to dry out and crack. can be got cheap at hardware store.

The best emergency fuel hose I have used is Air hose off my air compressor. It actually holds up pretty good against the gas. I had it on my old garden tractor for almost 4 years.

It will work for a short period of time. Cut the hose as short as you can so the fitting your using goes flush up against the nipple of the gas tank. I have used many different types of hose in a temporary situation. You need to find 1/2" fuel hose. It will be a tight fit, if it is you can dip the end in real hot water. This makes the hose soft and then you can screw it on the nipple of the tank. If the hose starts to deteriorate you will see it in the filter. A spare filter is a good idea.

It does sound like the cable may be broke. The cable comes from the key and might have a y in it rather than two separate cables. One of the ends might have a separate adjuster. On my magnum there is an adjuster at the key and another at one of the latches. The latch with the adjuster was to tight.

Yes you can probably get the tank off with the hose still on it. Just might have to finagle it around a little.

Well, while I am waiting on The new hid lights I decided to mount some led driving lights. As I was working on the wiring I discovered the get the hell outta my way button don't work. I tested the button it works, the wires are ok. The wimpy noise maker no workie. So I got a air horn to put on it. Its gonna be fun figuring out how and where to put it. The nose section is pretty cramped.

Tiny-Tach, just wrap the signal wire around spark plug wire the other wire goes to ground. I just velcroed mine to the dash. Peak horse power is about 7500 rpm, any thing over 8000 rpm is out of the engine power band. Red line is around 9000 rpm I think. I haven't blew mine yet but sure have tried, LOL. Around 10 grand the valves will start to float.

I finally got the headlight housing off. The type of bulb is molded into the back of the housing. It is marked as H1 55w 12v. All the auto stores do not carry a H1 35w bulb. So I'm gonna order an HID kit to put in it. The low beam is a projector type housing. The brake/tail light is led so I wont have to change it.

Ok, I got the battery out and the connections were corroded, also noticed the battery was not sealed real good. It is a wallymart neverstart battery. I cleaned it up and recharged it. I also bought a new one, different brand though just in case. I hooked it up checked the voltage, it was 12.9v. I started it up and voltage went to 13.5v. When I revved it up voltage went to 14v-14.5v. Then when I turn the headlights on voltage drops to about 12.8v. I got the front off to get to the headlights to find out what kind of bulbs are in it. but can't get the lens cover off. I don't want to break it so I'm looking for tips to getting it off. Getting to the lights is like going through the arse to do eye surgery. Roy
