My bike had this fender from the start, but I must have misplaced this bracket during my engine teardown. I also moved in the middle of that downtime, so who knows where it went.... I thought I was pretty good about keeping all the little parts in ziplock bags, but I guess I misplaced this one.

Didn't call them, but I got a quick e-mail back from them. Basically, they said if they don't have it listed on the website, they don't have it. Also, the one place I thought had it, told me that they actually don't. I bought a piece of aluminum flatbar that I'm going to make it out of and will in all likely hood just eyeball it.

Could someone please get me these two dimensions? The rest I can do without, but these are somewhat more important. Thanks!

I need some help with a silly little part.... I'm looking for the little L-shaped bracket that holds the rear "hugger" fender. Item #3 in this picture: www.partsforscooters.com/Vehicle-Type/125cc-150cc-GY6-4-Stroke-Rear-Fenders#Does anyone know where I could find one (I'm looking and not having much success). I found a nice set of chrome brackets, but I'm not paying $30 for them. :-P Also found it on another site for $3.46, much better, but they have a minimum order of $20... Does someone have an extra one, or one going unused? Or, Could someone who has the bracket, make a sketch of it and give me accurate dimensions to make one myself? (I'm pretty handy with a dremel) Thanks!

I'm anxiously awaiting the "It's running" post!!
I've been long considering putting one of these EFI kits on my Matrix, but I didn't want to be the guinea pig.

what does the tip of your old pipe look like? wanna sell it? I'll take some pics, and let you make an offer.... but, I don't think its really worth anything. Some of the baffles rusted loose and the whole thing rattled. That's the main reason I replaced it. Plus it just looked like crap without its carbon fiber look heat shield. The only reason I've even held on it this long is the thought of cutting off the header pipe to maybe try the B&S muffler mod.

Who makes the exhaust and where did you get it.Looks nice. Got it off ebay from Zoom Zoom Parts (ebay id m.j.zee). Don't know who actually made it, if I recall it came in a plain white box with no packaging. I had to tweak a few things to get it to work with my scoot's swing arm.

The pipe is growing on me. Its still louder than I'd like, but its tolerable... not to mention I got a few compliments on it this weekend at Scooters 4 Hooters. ;D
My big debate right now.... do I take the Matrix off the road?
I want to do a complete teardown, rewire and repair on this bike. I want to do the repainting that I've been putting off.
The weather is now reaching the point where its too hot to ride, so I think its time to go back to my to do list:
- Repair/Replace Handlebar fairing and add a windshield. - Replace front fender. I was going to repair mine, but I see generic replacements on eBay that should work for pretty cheap. - Repair rear caliper, again. Its rattling again.... - Some other miscellaneous body work. - Repaint! - Refoam the seat. - Rewiring lighting so everything works again! (I haven't had a working tag light for along time...)
I've also got some ideas on making a custom panel to replace the rear fender and hold the license plate and rear turn signals.

Thanks for the pics. I was wondering how that went this year. Did you see Scooter Bug? (Ann) I saw lots of people! Didn't know anyone ;-)

Yep, southwest Florida about 100 miles south of Tampa on the Gulf. Had more tornados closer to me when I lived in Texas then hurricanes here,,, so far.. The first summer I lived in Central Florida was the summer we had 4 hurricanes criss-cross the state (2004). That was... fun.

I'm a mechanical engineer by education, but I'm currently working as a concrete formwork engineer. My official title is still Engineer-In-Training, even though I've been here for almost 5 years.

On an iPhone... no idea.
If you had an Android phone, I'd recommend GPS Speedometer. I used it for awhile in my truck, when the speedo crapped out on me. The odometer function was a useless, but it kept a good speed reading.

I believe they come with a basic plastic bracket that will fit on naked bars, too.
I've been looking at one of the Vapor computers for awhile.
