Now I'm looking to downsize and enjoy staying closer to home in northern Wisconsin. By the way richard hasn't winter in northern wisc started yet? got the parka and snow shoes dusted off yet? Well it's a bit cool today and for the next four, then back to the 70s. This afternoon I'm headed 80 miles straight north, next to Green Bay, for a 4pm outdoor party followed by a later bonfire party. And I wear snowmobile boots.

A very interesting read for sure. Thanks for sharing. I have done several similar in my younger years but never to Florida. I mostly went to southern states were I had friends from my service in the Army and a couple old girl friends from that time in the Army. The farthest south was Beaumont, TX were I got married in '71. I was living in Milwaukee, WI at the time but didn't ride HDs but once. Once was enough. I to never really rode in groups except local rides with the GWRRA. Farther and I just packed up, trailer if necessary, and ride for a week or more. Now I'm looking to downsize and enjoy staying closer to home in northern Wisconsin.

That sprayer is setup for latex house paint. It would be too course for enamels. But, it might accept a smaller nozzle which you would have to order and wait for. I had one that would do that but luckily I was painting a trailer frame so the low quality didn't matter. I had an Ace hardware store put the paint in an aerosol can for the showy areas. Also there used to be refillable aerosol cans available in the past.

Maps?

It worked well today even though I chose a different route and there are many changes since it was new, 12 years ago. But how do you use one to figure out the journey at your desk before leaving and letting it tell you where to go? The sub-division I wanted to go see was just farm fields when I lived in Green Bay, WI back in my college years. 1968-1971. Lots of new stuff, especially "round-abouts"

I also got a suggestion to try Furkot.com. It does seem to work good but I will have to learn it first.

When Windows10 took over my machine it deleted much to include Google Maps and do a lot of damage to others. But I was able to download a new version last night and it works fairly well. I got the map I was desiring and printed it. Now to go on my little trip up to Green Bay.

Maps?

Can you suggest a good mapping program that works. I used to use Mapquest but with Windows 10 or Chrome it doesn't work anymore. Most others will not work with Windows 10 with out giving $50 a year for upgrades and won't work with Chrome at all. I used to us Street and Trips but that took a hike with Windows 7.
I don't want to just use my Garmin to get there.

I learned all but the lane splitting. First it's illegal and second the folks around here don't approve of it.

I would also think this would likely be an electrical problem. As with my small motorcycles these scooters charging system and Chinese connections these scooters are more prone to small issues. And it did happen rather suddenly.

I've cut a similar bar in the truck to be able to get the nozzle in there. I'm not familiar with scooters so didn't know that was there. It would have to help as getting the nozzle into small shallow thanks is necessary.

I have that same issue with two local stations with my TRUCK. I have to stand and hold the handle at a very low setting and can't use the holder thing. 17 gallons takes a while. But the other two will not accept my debit card unless for prepay. Would the mother-ship be the Pig?

Thanks a lot. I may need that when I can afford to buy a scooter. Hopefully in the spring. Tax Refund time. I'm sure you will enjoy the scooter riding. It's a blast. I haven't payed taxes since 2007.

This has been discussed on two motorcycle boards in the resent past and there were a couple guys that seem to be in a position to know. Their replies were that Chinese gas is rated differently and that there 91 is equal to our 88/89. But if you all are getting better milage there has to be something to it. I know my 98 VF750 Magna called for the 91 but I never got better mileage or performance than with the lowest octane. The Gold Wings were the same but they were made in the USA and called for 86. When I get a scooter I'll study it and listen to those with experience.
