This must be a scooter thing. I've never seen it mentioned in motorcycle circles and on the touring model you definitely can't get the valve near the top to check. Oh well, that's why I'm here, to learn.

Aren't the Sunny's much narrower than the Can Am? That alone could make a big difference.

There is definitely something wrong with your schrader valves if they leak when you remove the cap. That should never happen and from what I have read the beads shouldn't affect them.

That is an interesting way to do it. I must have missed that in your postings but, I will remember it. I do have an AC impact wrench.

Hay now! I said nothing about your sex or choice of color. Infact the car I used for my driving test was a '57 Buick four door Reviera that had brown below the chrome and the rest, including interior, was PINK. I drove that car for almost a year until I bought my Ford. Which was Sea Foam Green.

The carbs on my Honda CL360 and CB750K5 would turn to ice blocks if I ran them at 35F. Then I would shut down and let the engine heat thaw them, restart and go for a while again. On the 750 the second winter saw Weber carbs.

I have seen those on other than scooters and they weren't meant to COOL the carb but rather HEAT it for use in very cold weather. I have had carbs turn into blocks of ice. So if your not riding in sub-zero weather it isn't necessary.

I have been considering a 300cc trike but I would want it to do 55 with ease and close to 70 WOT. Maybe I should be reconsidering.

If you don't have a wrench big enough a large slip joint pliers will work on the larger, bottom, nut and maybe even the smaller lock nut. It can be used for many other things as well so, it' can be a good investment. A medium pipe wrench would work to and then you could do some plumbing repairs.
