I could care less of MPG, its a toy to me and I ride it to have fun and get out in the sunshine and wind in my face. If you want to save money on gas get an Electric, they have HUB motors that will do well over 40mph and good for 20-25miles at full throttle, more if easy on the mph. So you do your errands and come back and charge it overnight ready for the next day, pennies to charge. Alleyoop Electric HUB motors do all that? 15mph is max. legal speed, mine does 12mph at best with a range of 10 miles. And I have still get to pedal to help out.
To come close to a 50cc scooters performance you would need a 48 volt model that start at $2200. And it would have to be licensed, insured and the operator licensed for motorcycle operation.

I still find it hard to believe that 3,000 miles is so much of an accomplishment. I always thought that would just be time for a new plug and check the tire pressure. Or do you guys over work them by that much.

I don't like water proof covers. If it rains and then gets warm and sunny the bike rusted real fast. Even in just high humidity it collected water under under it while the breathable one let it dryout. The best I had was for the ATV that was water proof but had vents. Very expensive and I felt not really worth it.

Wow! That trailer would go for at least $15K here in Wisconsin. I'll have come your way if I want another. Genseeker, with what I've read about you here, independent/skilled/determined, and having those cats maybe you should consider a tree house. I think it would be YOU. Yes, I'm bored and watching TreeHouse Masters on the Animal Planted channel.

Thanks, that is a new trick for this old dog. As a machinist/mechanic I had never heard of such a thing. So I just need to go into my shaving kit.

With less than 200 rounds through it your gun hasn't even broken in. That takes about 400 so, it has not decreased in value at all. But if the shotgun is a better choice for you then I say go for it the way you want.

1 jb weld will not hold any thing with high heat, in,fact that's how you can get it unstuck! 2 One other way to get steel out of aluminum is to dissolve the bolt. You get some alum fron the canning dept at groceries store. mix it long on powder and apply to bolt. Old machine shop trick from before they had edm and several new fangled tricks. Alum does not effect the head if it's aluminum. Could you explain that a bit better for this old northern boy. I've done some canning but never used anything like aluminum powder.
I do know about them there new fangled machinists tricks. Rather expensive.
If you have a dremel tool or similar drill a hole in the bolt to release the pressure. And then cut a slot across the end to get a flat screw driver on it. Apply some penetrating oil and then tap on the hand of the screw driver a few times before turning. Patients is the key.

One doesn't have to be from another country to think ya'll are crazy weird. I've tickled a few fish but we don't have any I'd stick my hand into it's mouth. Them Northern Pike have huge nasty teeth.

If they are working now the pads just needed brake in. Some need more than others. Also when you replaced the pads did you bleed out the old fluid. The fluid can absorb water and air and you will have very weak braking with a spongy lever/pedal.

Isn't it amazing that we have to get our REAL news from the Daily Mail in the U.K.
