So would I if it's running but then, how do you get back?
Guitarman, I was going to ask about your getting up so early in the morning but then remembered where you live. I'm seeing you posted at 3:59am, what time would that be for you?

There's no replacement for displacement.

I agree with jct842. In Milwaukee I worked across the street from the fuel depot and witnessed it. Even the E10 came out of the same storage tank into generic trucks. Also such internet boycotts have always been a failure. I just make sure I buy at busy places, no matter the brand.

Yes I remember the K-Mart tools. They used to be big (Big-K) around here until they hooked up with Sears. That is some nice mock up work. It should save you from a lot of waste.

The tow-ster is much like what I'm looking for. It is a bit more advanced with the swivel joint. The old ones simple mounted on the hitch and the swivel was provided by the front wheel of the bike. And a lot cheaper.

I don't have a place to store a trailer as a renter and I see Trailer-in-a-Bag is out of business (a bit expensive anyway). So I've been looking for one of those things that mounts to the hitch and has a cradle to hold the front tire of a motorcycle with the rear wheel on the ground. I know they're not recommended for larger motorcycles but that's all I can find. Nothing for the simply little ones for small dirt bikes and the like. I drive a 4x4 pickup with a class 3 receiver so hook up is easy, except it would be a bit high. I also have magnetic towing lights for the back of the towed vehicle and ratchet straps to tie it down. All I need is a source for the hitch cradle if they are still available. I'm assuming that the drive system on scooters wouldn't have issues with this method over a short (30 miles) distance.

My local hardware will sell smaller lengths of electrical conduit and it is quit strong and easily worked. It can be cut to length with a hack saw or tubing cutter with patients.

Ah! No! I'm not going to ask. I'll just wait and see.

HF also has a table lift with a section that drops out to remove the rear wheel of a motorcycle. With a motorcycle you put it on the center stand on the lift to remove the rear wheel. Would that work on a scooter? www.harborfreight.com/automotive-motorcycle/lifts-stands.htmlI have a Sears version of item #61632 and it works great.

I hear ya about tight funds but don't skimp on the mount. Both the upper ideas (red & blue) should be used together. The tri-angulation will give the strength needed or it will eventually fail due to vibration. I'm new to scooters so I can't give advice on the other issues.

Sorry, I didn't realize the drink needed to stay in the original container. So I see that Guitarman has the best suggestion. I personally prefer to stop and get off before taking in fluids so have never had a drink holder even on the bicycle where I have a rack and insulated cooler/lunch box.

Sounds like your a chocoholic as well. That radiator looks a bit large for it but, a small heater core could be placed behind the license plate. I've seen this done on a cars front plate. But ours are larger than cycles plates.
