I would stay with the main fuse for safety. As far as grounding you can join all the grounds together and have one wire going to a good grounding source. Of course the single wire should support all the ports at work. Your doing fine.

That couldn't have happened in this country. It would be major lawsuit time for sure.

Do you best to protect it from the bad boys for sure. As far as a cover, I would not go with 'water proof'. That will hold in moisture and cause rust and decay. Even if it doesn't rain it can collect and hold humidity at a high level. The 'water resistant' materials may allow some rain to come in but can breath and allow the scooter to dry. Some have a 'water proof' upper cover with 'water resistant' sides. I also live in and apartment and understand space issues. But, if you can there are small shelters as well. I will see if I can find a link to what I'm talking about and return. Here is a very good one that I have personally seen and used; www.speedsupplies.com/accessorylistingdetailpurch.asp?item=115582&gclid=CjwKEAjw3sKpBRDJ7rDqzsyuhDASJACZAikitmuNJMVa04QZ2YdRVoRVVVlDApwimaLEMeErNQ41ChoC9vzw_wcB

Unfortunately what you mention may stop children but if they want it almost nothing will stop them.

Get yourself a bicycle. In every state if it's electric and only goes up to 17mph you don't need a license or registration. For four years I rode one around Green Bay and later Appleton. It could easily go 5 miles each way everyday. Or get yourself some friends.

In Wisconsin any mo-ped requires a license with motorcycle endorsement. Also you can get a DWI conviction with out arrest/ticket, without a BAC or even a trial. They will just issue a warrant for arrest with out notification. If you don't find out about the warrant and turn yourself in, they can arrest, put you in jail and of course there will be another huge fine. We no longer live in a civilized country.

Yes it's been a month. I'm not the praying type but I do worry. Doesn't anybody know him better than the rest of us?

I have been there. A co-worker knocked over my motorcycle, picked it up and said nothing. It came off when I accelerated. I didn't have AAA at the time so I walked to the dealership for a replacement. It's best you did that than driving in the city with a defective throttle.
I had to use AAA Sunday and Monday for my truck. I had to do a panic stop in the round-a-bout and blow out both brake lines. It's still in the shop. So believe me, My Smoke was definitely let out.

I think it's a great thing to do. In my truck I have the standard cigar lighter and a heavy duty port. I also have a Y splitter that doubles and outlet. I also have a couple extension cords. On my Honda Goldwing I installed two heavy duty outlets. When I get the scooter it will get at least one.

Hope your getting the hang of it. The old cigar light sockets were fused at 7.5 and a compressor would blow that in a flash and if you put in a bigger fuse the wire would "let out smoke".

If it's rated at 14 I would definitely go with a 15 amp. Mine may not have been made to go to 50 psi were it needs a 15 amp. This is mine, from WalMart; Sorry it's not here so I can't check it.

I recently used a small 12V compressor to inflate the bicycle tires. The extension cord had a 10 amp fuse and it blew when I reached 45 psi. I replaced it with a 12 amp and got to 50 psi. By the way this was connected to my heavy duty truck battery and heavy duty outlet.

With some advice I figured out how to delete 4 programs that were loaded with the upgrade from PCMechanic. Now the link works in about 20 seconds. That's right Microsoft didn't do the download it was a third party maintenance company that wants $380 to fix it and I would lose even more programs I use and gain some more THEY like.
